I've been meaning to get here for _years_ and was not disappointed in the slightest when I finally did :-) By serendipity the rotating themed menu happened to be riffing on a favorite movie of mine, which was fun, but the impeccable cocktails spoke for themselves. I was there on a rainy Sunday afternoon and the space was less than half full, so I don't know what it feels like at peak times, but I found it to be classy, cozy, and pleasantly chill - and the promise of the next rotating menu will definitely tempt me back.

Grand Army is a place. It is the place to be. They treat you real grand. They don't treat you like the army. I would go to Grand Army if I could. I would go there to listen to the rock music. An oyster is an aphrodisiac. Maybe in the summer they have little hot dogs.

Surprisingly very well prepared appetizers and dinner for a fun neighborhood bar. Small menu choice but what they do serve was great. Really a fun small Brooklyn bar. On our list of favorites👍

Fantastic neighborhood spot that was very accommodating for our small event! Cocktails were excellent and the food (definitely seafood forward) was great. The service was also excellent and all the staff that worked with us were extremely nice and welcoming. They made the night incredible. Cannot wait to return.

•Tuna Tartare - Super fresh tuna with sesame, ginger, and shrimp chips - so good! •Little Gem - Miso Caesar, pecorino, and breadcrumbs. An elite way to eat your greens. •Smoked Trout Dip - This was seriously delicious and perfect to enjoy with the classic Ritz crackers! •Crispy Potatoes - My ideal bar snack. Served with caviar, crème fraîche, and everything bagel seasoning.

Grand Army decided to revive some of the bar's greatest hits in its current menu. I am including some of my favorites from the menu below, definitely check out Grand Army this Spring to experience this'll star menu! Drinks: •Truth or Dare - This frozen Sloe Gin Fizz is the perfect Spring drink to enjoy outside! It is made with sloe gin, stone fruit, cinnamon, and sparkling wine. If you dare, you can get a Campari float on top, which I would highly recommend! • Late Night at Luke's - This iconic cocktail from Grand Army's 2017 Gilmore Girls themed menu is a lovely take on a Negroni, made with cachaça, barrel aged gin, sweet vermouth, and Campari. • Survivor - As a huge Survivor fan, I had to try this Survivor-inspired Negroni riff from the 2022 Game Shows menu. It is made with mezcal, dried fig, Zucca amaro, and bianco vermouth. •Boardwalk Flyer - This inventive cocktail comes from Grand Army's 2015 trains menu and is made with mezcal, blanc vermouth, banana, and lime. I was a little nervous about the banana flavors, but it was so well integrated and balanced this ended up being my favorite of the night! •Black Mesa - Loved this creative take on an Old Fashioned made with bourbon, rum, salted corn, and Pedro Ximenez sherry from the Oklahoma State Parks menu!

I love Grand Army, came with a friend the first time and then brought friends here the second time. First time, I was impressed by my friend's taste in food, second time, my friends were impressed with MY taste in food. Would definitely come here again - menu and themes seem to change every couple of months (every season?) And each time the variations don't seem to change the quality of the food. Cocktails are fantastic as well - purple parrots at the moment is quite good. For the go around, we ordered 1 of every entree and all of it was delicious. I don't even remember the names of the dishes, just order whatever you want and you won't be disappointed

We had an amazing time! The seafood tower for only 60$ was SO worth it!!! Megan was an amazing server she walked us through all the options and paired cocktails with every step of our meals. Thank you for bringing water for my dog ! Love this place and the patio is pet friendly

Excellent Happy Hour food, excellent happy hour cocktails, and excellent happy hour service. We decided to cancel our previous reservations elsewhere & we stayed for dinner, as well. The place was hopping on a Friday night, but the service, the bartenders, and the kitchen were all quite efficient. I was quite impressed. The seafood and the house oyster sauces were all excellent. I, WE (me & my wife), will definitely be back.
