Not your typical Mexican restaurant fare. No tacos here, but they do have delicious empanadas. The service is fast and attentive, and the food is solid. The ambiance leaves something to be desired, but it’s a good casual lunch spot. The drinks are super cheap, which is nice. (Think $6 margaritas.) O
Came here with a group of 9, service was good. Food was excellent and priced reasonably. At the end they surprised us with free shots and churros for everyone.
Came here again... Different name and slightly different menu then it was a few months ago. Not sure if management changed or what but it continues to be delicious. Vegetable chile relleno is off the hook. It's quite possibly the most beautiful Mexican dish I have seen. The presentation matched the
Excellent place with really authentic and original Mexican food, amazing drinks I ordered a "cazuela" amazing drink so authentic, nice and cozy atmosphere in Clinton hill
Food was delicious, drinks was refreshing atmosphere was relaxing.. Will definately visit again
Food was delicious and the service was good. Just be prepared for some waiting time. I ordered an appetizer, it got to the table after the entrée.
Honestly impressed with the quality of food. I was under the impression that their nachos would be like most spots: an unevenly distributed amount of cheese and cream and just all around toppings on an unimpressive mound of chips. But this place didn't let me down. Came for brunch on a Sunday and wa
We stopped for brunch on a Sunday. We were the only ones in the restaurant so we weren't too sure what to expect. Their brunch special was great, one entree with unlimited brunch drinks for $20. The food took a little longer than expected but once it arrived it was hot and good, not great. Service w
Enjoying our meal so much, i'm leaving this review while still here. I generally don't have high expectations for a lunch special but the chile relleno was the most beautiful and tasty I'd ever had. Big plus -- they'll do a lettuce taco. And they're super fresh and super tasty. Environment is cozy a
Just came from a wonderful dinner at this new Latin restaurant. I had the Jumbo shrimp which were cooked perfectly and my husband had the chile relleno which was spicy for his taste but DELICIOUS to me. The margaritas are way too good to cost $5. Glad to have this spot in our hood. I hope they last!
This restaurant has the trifecta- Amazing food, great service, and delicious margaritas. This is my 3rd visit, and I've had a great experience every time. The menu has several gluten free options too.
Great place! Excellent service and the food and drinks are delicious. highly recommended!!
I’ve been there for dinner and brunch. The food was amazing both times. The brunch really stood out! We got the steak tostadas and huevos rancheros. Both dishes were so tasty that I can’t wait to come back and have them again. They have a bottomless brunch for 25$ that includes unlimited drinks and
Ojala is one of the newer Mexican restaurants to grace Myrtle Ave and it is a quaint and colorful addition to the many restaurants popping up on Myrtle. There was a small bar and a long banquette running along the wall with tables placed along the way. I started with the chips and salsa which were
the service was great...i forgot the guys name but he made sure we were good. we celebrated a friend's bday they gave her a sombrero sung the bday song...poured tequila into her mouth and shook her head so it can go down smooth. coconut margarita was really good. loved the guac. and for dessert the
Fresh ceviche and delicious loaded guacamole with great service. Our server Jairo was attentive but not imposing, really made us feel at home. Their original recipe Blackberry Margarita with activated charcoal ("charro") alone was worth the visit!
Highly recommend! Excellent Mexican cuisine in the heart of Brooklyn. Genuine Mexican food has been a glaring gap in the pantheon of ethnic food in New York City. This small enclave in my own Brooklun neighborhood does its part to remedy this.
