the bread is done right here — toasted, shatters when you bite into it, hulled out in the middle, good ratio of meat to veg I got the shredded chicken and felt stuffed

If you like a good Banh Mi (Vietnamese Sandwich), this is a spot you can not miss out. Their sandwich is affordable ($7.5), and super tasty. Also, they have other Vietnamese snacks that are delicious and one should definitely give it a try.

My favorite Vietnamese sandwich spot for many many years. A little gem! Always those kind ladies there, service and quality of the food never changed! The butter hero it’s a heaven,I usually choose that or the fresh veggie sandwich. Vietnamese coffee very delicious if you like a stronger one. They have couple of tables you can seat down and eat there. Usually I just pick up and take it to go..If we are in Brooklyn my family always pick up here something to eat.

This no frills shop has the best banh mi in NYC! Light, crispy baguette, and perfect bread-to-filling ratio. Classic and grilled pork options are great, but my favorite is the meatball sandwich, hands down. The savory and peppery meatball is a perfect complement to the fresh cilantro and pickled veggies. Their vietnamese iced coffee is one of the best I've had: rich, creamy, and flavorful, without being too sweet. I also love the iced lemon tea, which is incredibly refreshing and perfectly balanced.

Nothing special about the atmosphere as it is mainly a take out place. The sandwich has always been good. Been eating their sandwiches since they were original on 7th ave and 60th st. More offering of authentic vietnamese street style food than most Banh Mi shop. It is a plus that I can speak the native chinese dialect to the lady boss.

This is a cash only establishment. We loveeeeeeee the Vietnamese coffee and sandwich!!! I tried the avocado shake and that was good too. It’s not pricey and it’s very convenient for me to walk to. It’s very popular in the area (I mean just look at the amount of reviews). A must try if you around 8th ave.

Absolutely phenomenal sandwich and the cold drink was unbelievable (honeydew milk). Made with so much love that it satisfies instantly. Amazing local business.

Came here around 6pm and there was a small line inside but it went fast. You can call ahead to place an order so that it's ready when you get there. I got the number 1 bahn mi, the bread was very nicely toasted and it had a good balance between meat and pickles/veggies. There is seating inside but it seems like most people take it to go. Would recommend eating sandwhich asap since it's better when it's freshly made. Don't be intimidated if you can't speak chinese/viet, you can just say the number of the item on the menu. Definitely worth it to stop by if you're in the area and you can take your food and enjoy it at sunset park.

This small restaurant seems to be a neighborhood favorite. You will find lots of customers awaiting their sandwiches during the lunch hour, but any hour you will see people going in and out. The staff are welcoming. A variety of Asian sweets treat and snacks are available. I have been a returning customer, particularly for the avocado shake 🤤.

cash only; some tables inside; you can order in english, mandarin, or cantonese and im assuming probably also vietnamese. i got the bahn mi #8, and the ice lemon tea (#4 on the drinks menu) and it was $11. both tasted really refreshing, and i waited about ten minutes total on the line and for the food. definitely recommend!!
