It's a yummy place. Great coffee and treats. Lovely seating area in the back for nice weather. Friendly staff. I enjoy doing work here over a cold brew and a snack, or grabbing a good cup of Joe to go

This place has a very nice backyard, but the coffee was mediocre. The Vietnamese iced coffee seemed to actually be a cold brew with sweetened condensed milk, which was far too acidic for the type of drink. The cold brew or coffee itself is pretty good, but the Vietnamese iced coffee just plainly is not Vietnamese iced coffee. However, if you’re looking for a cute place to chat or have a nice laptop session, this is better than most.
I frequent this coffee shop and i gotta say this has a really good vibe for a coffee shop in Brooklyn (which usually are crowded and the service is pathetic). Good coffee, good service and good wifi at Daily Press. Its not very crowded in the mornings. My best experience was when the one making my bagel dropped one the floor and then she gave me an extra half for free as a courtesy.
They have consistently good coffee and espresso which is what always brings me back. It is a relaxed atmosphere, perfevt to do light work or hang out. The backyard/outdoor space is really nice
Great place! Definitely serve the best coffee in the neighborhood - don't forget to try the bagels, too! Really like how there's a backyard where you can just chill!
Best feta tomato spinach + ham and cheese croissants. Good atmosphere, nice staff. Outdoor seating in the far back, gets like a greenhouse though in hot weather. Music is hit or miss, lots of questionable country music playing on various occasions.
One of my favorite local coffeeshops. A mix of standard coffeeshop fare (coffee & espresso drinks, croissants) with more filling options (bagels, slow-cooked oatmeal, breakfast burritos) and interesting seasonal drinks, like the “vermonter” (maple syrup in coffee!?). Service is always quick and friendly and there’s plenty of seating. Check out the cool abstract maps of other cities on the walls!
Sometimes the line and wait are long, and it is expensive (for the neighborhood, but on par with other new jack coffee joints), but they make coffee drinks right and sell excellent whole beans. Try the cold brew - it's one of the better I've had in New York.
Daily Press just opened a week or so ago and I've already been in a half dozen times. It was started by a couple of young, dedicated people who are keen to bring style and substance to this little spot on Franklin Ave and Fulton Street. The quality of coffee is superb and they've got peanut butter cookies (and chocolate chip, and...) that will change your world view. The interior is edgy but doesn't come with a big attitude. The baristas are really cool and know their stuff...it's just what a cool cafe should be.
