A splendid joint for an all-day IPA, a hearty grilled cheese, and a satisfying cocktail. Friendly bartenders, nice selection, solid atmosphere. Comfortable, intimate, easy. Good crowds, if thick at peak hours, and a tried and true menu with options for all. Staple pad, long true, and in the zone.

Clean, spacious bar. Nice grilled cheese sandwiches; better bread than in your average bar, and crunchy. Not greasy at all and that is a big plus. I wish they served something else next to it, besides a quarter pickle, but very good overall. Great variety of whiskeys and a bunch of old fashioned cocktails on the menu. I tried two; very well mixed and super-tasty.

One of the best whiskey bars the US has to offer. A staff who knows what they have and loves what they do. Grilled cheeses most excellent and a backyard with bright sky above you. Find out about their whiskey tastings and show a couple friends you know how to have a good time in the city

The whiskey list is exceptional and their take on classic mixed drinks is excellent.
The grilled chess sandwiches are exactly what you didn’t know you needed until 2 whiskey in.
The staff is well trained and knowledgeable of the whiskey and mixology.
The backyard is large and has intimate and large seating available.
Can get loud but what bar at its peak doesn’t. Generally very accessible and the beer list is decent.

One of my favorite bars, if you love whiskey this place does not disappoint. There is an extensive selection of whiskey, and it's a great place to come unwind and have a couple drinks with friends. I've never seen it excessively packed and you don't need to shout over the music to be heard if you're trying to have a conversation.
I would also highly suggest getting a grilled cheese sandwich while you're here, it's the only food they serve but they have a few different styles and each one is excellent.

Their was so much food to choose from and it was all delicious!! We had the ramen burger, the Himalayan pie, pulled pork sandwich and squid with noodles! Out of all of them our favorite with my husband was the Himalayan pot pie!! Definitely recommend this one! After getting your food you can choose from eating in the crowd or go to by the bay with the amazing view of the city!

My absolute favorite place in the neighborhood! The grilled cheese is delicious (try the Betsy!) and the whiskey selection is enormous and constantly expanding. The staff are fantastic and the atmosphere is always great, even when it gets busy on weekends. Good beer selection too, if you need that.
