Myrtle Thai Restaurant

We went to visit NYC for the weekend, and stumbled upon this place that was close to our Airbnb and we stopped by for their lunch menu which was great and the price even greater! We enjoyed it so much we went back 3 more times, each time to try something different. The staff was great, the place clean and the food amazing! Loved the pineapple fried rice, pad Thai, curry and the sunny afternoon drink to die for!! SO GOOD!!

Yum! All in all pretty tasty food. I did not enjoy the summer roll however. It was served with fried tofu chunks on top of the roll NOT an ingredient within the summer roll! Ok not the end of the world. But when I pick up a piece of roll it falls apart because its actually one roll cut into 4 pieces... so 2 middle pieces have no bottom...just open-ended tubes of mostly lettuce with basil. It was disappointing because it felt like I was served a "kitchen mistake salad" instead of a "summer roll". Flavor was good, but Finesse, Details & Consistency matters too.

First off, got to say I am a fanatic of myrtle thai. I’ve been going here since highschool (started in 2013 but couldve been 2015 going to Myrtle thai). I used to go every monday with friends for the lunch special and I finally decided to go back in 2022 to see if it still was the same. And thank goodness it was. First off, where else can you get an appetizer and entree for $10?? The even have $10 cocktails! However, this time I went the nonalcoholic route to try the mango lemonade which was reallyyyy good. My cousin and I also tried the garlic wings which were to die for. The sauce on them is sooo good. We ordered both basil fried rice and pad kee mao (drunken noodles). Both were really yummy. Also for appetizers we had vegetable and chicken dumplings. I dont like mushrooms so I was a bit sad fhey started to add mushrooms to the chicken dumplings. I personally tasted the mushrooms a lot and didnt like it. However, the vegetable dumplings were really good. I cant wait to go back and continue to support
