Gourmet Grill

Love this place. One of our go to spots for many years. Beautiful outdoor backyard space with seating where you are not crowded on top of other tables. Service is sooo attentive I never lack for anything. John, one of the owners circulates making sure every customer is happy. Wait staff is led by Erica who leads by example a stellar team. Many food choices. Lots of healthy choices. My faves are the eggplant parm, penne primavera with vodka sauce, Filet of sole. I could go on but you may like the ribs or burgers more. Fries and onion rings are always done to perfection. And the prices are reasonable. Not cheap but for food and service this consistent It shouldn't be.

For my 65th birthday I wanted to treat some family and some very close friends to a very nice dinner to celebrate; yesterday night; about 2 dozen guests in all. Gourmet Grill blows away any so called fancy/trendy "white tablecloth" restaurants in Brooklyn. The food (quality/quantity) was terrific, the service and ambiance just as terrific. The salad and appetizers were excellent and everyone devoured the rib appetizers they were so good. There was a choice of several entrees that were excellent and we were allowed to choose any of the sauces for the pasta. The tuscan sauce is terrific and I don't know of any other place that has it. I do not like cakes so I was given cups of ice cream to go along with the cannolis and rainbow cookies. The bottom line is that there was not a single thing that could have possibly been better. I also want thank the owner, John. There is no better person to work with. I had 2 friends who are have severe food allergies and John went out of his way to prepare their food separately just for them. I also want to note that I am a "regular" here for many years. I didn't get such great food and service just because I am a regular. I am a "regular" here because this is how it always is every single time at Gourmet Grill; great food, great service.

I have order from here on-and-off through the years and I have never been disappointed. The food is always cooked great. Really enjoy getting the salad and customizing it despite me getting the same toppings 90% of the time. Delivery maybe takes 45 minutes (drive is less than 5 minutes from me but I'm lazy at times) so don't order when you're starving. The sliders deluxe is another favorite of mine!

Found this place on a whim while celebrating my 4 year olds birthday with the family. Glad we did! From when we walked in, until we left, everyone was cordial and attentive. The place was cozy, they have an expansive menu, and their food was great. The portions are also more than enough. I highly recommend this place and I will be returning. They also have a patio that will be open in May, which I plan to visit. Thanks to John and the staff for helping us complete our daughter's bday celebration.
