very nice and clean restaurant. chose a special offer. my husband had a chicken with risotto, very tasty. I have black linguines with seafood. in seafood were tolk scallops, salmon and shrimp. declared in me mussels was not. linguini were not very tasty. so in general everything is fine, but do not order black linguines with seafood.
Staff very helpful & friendly as was one of the owners who was on premises.. Food was above average ..delicious. try the fried calamari appetizer so light great flavor not rubbery at all. All dishes appetizers to desserts were above average, everyone in our party was very pleased. Mixed drinks are not watered down & not shelf liquor either as I specified a brand and got it. Very reasonably priced. Clean & inviting.
Awesome drinks and food. Grotto sauce that comes w the seafood is amazing (I've only been able to get sauce like that at my grandmothers!). Super friendly staff. Nice low key vibe (unlike some of the pretentious places in the area). Beautiful bar, open windows/doors on all sides.....great place to have a drink (or two....or three) or to have a nice dinner in the spacious back room. Love this place!!
The food here is absolutely delicious. It has a comfortable atmosphere and the staff is very attentive. Our group of six were very happy with the three appetizers we shared: hot and cold antipasto and melt in your mouth fried calamari. My chicken marsala was so flavorful with plenty of mushrooms and the portions are generous.The entire party raved about their entrees. We shared some great desserts with our coffee. I would highly recommend this place. In a neighborhood packed with restaurants, this one really stands out.
Great food. You might get warned by the staff that the stuffed mushrooms aren't a traditional recipe and, as a result, you might want to order them. DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS ADVICE!! They're fantastic, along with the rest of the menu! Very friendly staff as well!

Food is delicious but they need to improve their service skills. I've been to this restaurant over 3 times and the food is always good but all the waiters suck... Get a good manager ASAP! This is the only reason why I stopped visiting this restaurant.
Me and my girlfriend went here tonight for the first time. The place is beautiful and the food was awesome. I had the penna alvodka with grilled chicken which was amazing. The grilled chicken was soft no knife needed to cut it. My girlfriend had chicken with lemon wine sauce and mashed potatoes and spinach amazing. Dessert was amazing as well. We definitely will be back and definitely will recommend it to friends. 😊
Great food. Big portions. Really good drinks. Only minus was that our waiter was a bit unattentive and forgot to give our drink order to the bartender. But definitely would come back.
My boyfriend is a professional wrestler & we got a invite to this place after one of his shows in Brooklyn & mannnnnnn I had the time of my whole freaking life. The food was too awesome although I we don't eat pork but, everything else was to die for especially the dessert OMG!!! 😍😍😍 I died & went to heaven. The staff beyond awesome. It is definitely a place we will be back to once in Brooklyn again.....
Great Italian food, happy hour drinks, beautiful decor, friendly server's and very reseasonable prices. What more can you ask for ? My favorite dish so far has been the black sqid ink pasta in a garlic white cream sauce with mussels, scallops and lobster. I crave it now, have to have at least every other week.
They just started making pizza that's out of this world, a smaller 6 slice pizza for about $9 that blows away all the other pizza offered in Bay Ridge. You have to try this place once and I know you'll love it.
