Normally I don’t write reviews, only read them, but I felt like I needed to write this one. Our waiter was incredible. I think the best one I’ve ever seen. He gave us a free wine dessert, gave us better seating, was so nice, and went out of his way. The food was amazing. The restaurant was very calming, not busy, and family friendly. The desserts were delicious (the tartufo and ricotta cheesecake).
We failed to get into two Italian places in Little Italy, so we retreated back to our hotel in Brooklyn, but I still wanted something, so we Googled and found this place. It was quiet, relaxing and peaceful, the exact opposite of the madness of Little Italy. The drinks were good and the food was delicious.
Got take out and it was very good, however was charged $10 for an additional side! The meal beat the sticker shock on the bill.
Had an amazing dinner with my aunt and her wife to be. You can't go wrong with any of their pasta dishes, and the fresh Mozzarella Appetizer was delicious as well. A delightfully full bodied Chianti with the entree, and Port Wine to top everything off. Of course the bread gets an honorary mention, served with butter balls, and warm kalamata olives. Highly recommend to all lovers of Italian cuisine.
Good food, service, music, good place.
I recomend it.
This place is a gem. We held my rehearsal dinner here, post-wedding breakfast and hosted a large birthday party. All events I held here were for 70 of my guests. Mike helped a huge deal in planning these events. I also have eaten dinner here and every time, wheter a dinner for two or a 70 person buffet, the food was delicious! Whether it be their lemon chicken, penne vodka, chef's salad, Tiramisu, cheesecake, chocolate moose, starbucks coffee, breakfast pastries, french toast or bacon...you name it, they've got it and really do it well! Their wines are excellent as well. I love that they have TVs to project my slide show of photos I played during my rehearsal dinner and also have a microphone for the speech my dad gave. The room was the perfect size for a speech and slide show viewing. I recommend this restaurant for any event big or small! I am so glad I found this. It is in the perfect location for guests of the Sheraton, Hotel Indigo or Aloft hotel in downtown Brooklyn. Definitely stop be here and grab a bite to eat or plan your big event.
Not sure why the place doesn't have more reviews - likely because it's inside the Sheraton hotel (you need to actually go through the lobby to get to the restaurant) so most of the guests are likely staying at the hotel. (which is my situation - i'm a regular here at the Sheraton).
But, I must say they know what they are doing. Excellent food.
Exceeded expectations! Food is excellent. Recommend anything that includes mushrooms (sourced from upstate NY) and/or sweet Italian sausage. Attentive service. Addictive bread in breadbasket!
We were looking for a place to eat late in the evening on a weekday. We ended up at this hotel restaurant and it was a great choice. Great Italian options and the staff is sweet.
