This place is a hidden gem in the neighborhood. The prices are unbeatable and in my experience the staff is always very nice. The enchiladas are always served hot and delicious. If you‘re in the mood for Mexican food, this is a great lunch or casual dinner joint in Park Slope

Great little restaurant. Staff are super friendly and have been there a long-time: they remember you, your family, and it's super warm and inviting. Like dining in someone's house! Food is good, service is great, a lovely little place and well-deserving all of these 5 stars!

This place deserves to be way more popular than it is. I’ve been here several times and always have a great experience. Service is good, food is delicious and drinks are well-made. Very family-friendly as well, and there’s always an open table. If you’re in the mood for Mexican you really can’t go wrong with Rancho.

Very fresh and delicious. After walking past Rancho Alegre for years, my husband and I decided to try it. We are sad we gave other Mexican restaurants in the neighborhood our business for so long and overlooked this place. The prices and quality were much better.

My favorite Mexican restaurant and the waitress who has an amazing memory, makes us feel so at home and welcome. The banana daquiris are delicious as is the guacamole and every dish I have ever ordered at Rancho Alegre.

The food here was outstanding best Mexican Restaurant I have been to in Brooklyn overall. The Nacho Chips, Salsa, and Guacamole were on point. Definitely recommend this spot is want good food and tranquility!

Very relaxed atmosphere, always playing Mexican music, with tasty sangria and margaritas. They do some dishes better than others, but the ones they do right are really good. I prefer the steak fajitas over the chicken. And the cheese enchilada and chili relleno are just right.

The place is the perfect place to go with a date because it is small and quaint. It's also a good place to have a small party. The food is good (get some guacamole). They make some good drinks. The service is outstanding. We went here on our second date and 20 years later we are still together. We went here after we signed the mortgage papers for our new home. And we went here to celebrate paying off the mortgage to our home. It's a great place to celebrate milestones.
