Went a week ago and was shock to see the under new management and the look change. Which I welcome. Our server donavaughn or donavon ( apologize if I spelt it wrong)He Was very attentive and nice and fast with taking the order and bringing the food. The manager walked around to check in on customers and I feel that way nice also. My food came out correct . I had a burger medium well and got what I asked for. Fries was so crispy and the onion rings 😍. Pickles and coleslaw was also good and fresh. I ordered a long island ice tea and it was delicious and strong which I was shocked about since it was a diner. It was a quick date night with hubby and we will be back again. The food was the style and size of the old school Brooklyn diners( if u know, u know, because I'm a 80's baby) the flavors was up to date. Only thing missing for me was going to a drive in movie after lol. Will definitely be back again . Oh one more thing. We didn't drive but it's lots of parking. We decided to take the bus because it's a 10 min ride home. Waiting for the B46 you can hear the music playing from the diner which I felt changed the energy of everyone outside. I started singing and dancing at the bus stop which made plp driving by laugh n look over at the diner and take note. One lady ask me at the red light have I ever been and I said yes we just left and it was good. She said she was going to try it.

I have been coming here for over 2 decades now. One thing I can say is the food is consistent (in a good way). Most of the times we get breakfast (no matter what time of day it is) A few of the workers are from another fav spot Paphos in East New York (sadly they closed July of this year). Staff is VERY friendly, food is always fresh & there’s never a long wait time (in the week) The food is always cooked properly. I would have taken a pic, but I ate it 🤣 It’s good to know with so many things changing the Floridian dinner is the same great service with a smile. They had a recent upgrade of the establishment & utilized every corner. Very comfortable seating & if you are in the little corner nooks to the left as soon as you walk in it’s very cozy not cramped. You still have great space to eat and be comfortable! Reasonably priced place also. Def give them a try.

Complimentary Appetizers: coleslaw, chickpea salad, pickles, sweetish dinner rolls with butter. The coleslaw and chickpea salad tasted great together; could have filled up on it. I went with the deluxe Turkey burger (15.95) which came with fries, onion rings, lettuce and tomato. I felt it lacked some seasoning, but it was large and well cooked. I did ask for cheese but it was not added and thankfully I was not charged. It was an extra $2.19 if I remember correctly. The toasted burger bun really helped keep it all together when I added toppings. My friend had the Chicken Alfredo with a greek salad (24.95) which he enjoyed. Great looking place and kind servers.

This has got to be my favorite diner. I don’t like many diners but this has got to be my favorite. I think the price could be a little expensive depending on what you order but it is what it is. The coke slaw and chick peas and pickles that they give you in the beginning of each meal is honestly my favorite part.

Took my teenage grandson to this diner. Staff was friendly, food was very good. Would have given them five stars but they forgot about us. We had to wait more than 30 minutes for our food. . Manager actually came over to our table to chat. Could have complained but really wasn’t worth the time. I still left a very good tip. Waitress was responsible for too many tables & customers.
