For my birthday I wanted to try somewhere I had not been but that had been on my to try list and Bedawi fit the bill! Having fallen in love with Arabic food in Jerusalem many years ago, I am picky about where I eat it. Bedwai did not disappoint! We ordered a Merguez (ground lamb) Platter and a Chicken Platter. Both the lamb and the chicken were perfectly grilled and flavorfully seasoned. The accompanying baba ghanouj was exceptional and the warm, freshly baked Jordanian style pita bread sealed the deal! The cafe is small and nicely decorated giving patrons, along with the arabic music being played, a sense of being in the middle east. Portions are generous and prices very fair. Highly recommend but get there at an off hour because they fill up quickly!

I love this place. Their hummus is creamy and perfectly balanced. The soup is an especially tasty option for rainy or cold weather.

This food here was great and the service was just as good. The worker was kind and attentive. Not to mention the overall vibe of this place (art, decor and music) is a plus.

This is a great place for middle eastern food. The owners have been running restaurants in the area for 30 years. The menu is classic dishes done well.

Freshly made food to order means you wait a bit longer, but the wait is totally worth it. Everything was delicious, and beautifully presented. Outdoor seating, so dress coolly if visiting during the summer heat, which goes well with the Middle Eastern vibe.

Shared Falafel salad & veggie pizza. Both really great. Our server was very nice... But had food envy... because everything coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. Nice backyard...

Needed a clean fresh meal and this place already had great reviews…. Now I know why! WOW! Good Smokey baba ganoush, incredibly fresh and colorful salads and beautiful tomatoes! The pita is lovey and the falafels are on point! I’m writing this review as I eat dinner w my family who’s going back in for thirds. There is something for everyone here and I HIGHLY recommend! Fresh, beautiful and delicious!

I was pleasantly surprised, when I entered, by the decor, the fabric on the walls and ceiling. The lighting was perfect. It gave me a cozy and warm feeling. The staff I encountered was very pleasant and helpful with explaining some items on the menu. The food was pleasing to the eye and my taste buds were not disappointed. That Baba Ghanoush was absolutely delicious and bread that accompanied it was perfect. Hubby had the Shrimp Pizza and was blown away by the texture, and taste. He kept talking about the generous amount of shrimp on the pizza. After the mealn we used the restroom and it was nice and clean with some interesting art on the walls. There's also handle bars for those who need it. In all it was a really wonderful experience. We're still talking about this place. It's a very short walk from the Movie Theater thus making it an excellent place to have a meal before or after your show or your walk to the park ( Prospect Park is a stone throw away) or after service since a church is across the street. I saw some guests order plates that came with heaping amount of lamb. I may try that next. The waiter was really friendly and kept the water full. He told us it's BYOB so for those who'd love to it's a cozy slice Mediterranean Heaven in Brooklyn. I'll be back

We loved this place! I got the falafel platter, grape leaves, and a Turkish coffee. Pita bread is baked fresh and everything made to order. This feels like a place you can sit for a while and enjoy the ambience. Will come again when in the area.
