The food was so good! Very much like my hometown in Southern California!! Best refried beans I've ever had! The place us small and very loud, but food is great!
Hands down, the BEST Mexican food I have ever had. The beef on the tacos were so juicy and tender, you didn't even need salsa....the rice and beans were absolutely delicious, full of flavor and not dry like most Mexican places. Lunch prices could be a bit lower, but honestly worth every penny.
Food is great, and the portions are huge. The margaritas are really good. Place is small but does get loud. Overall this sis the kind of place you go to on a weekly basis.
This place is great! The food was amazing. The burrito I ordered was larger than my forearm. I would definitely come back here if I lived in New York and had a consistent income!
Another great spot in Brooklyn.. the food and drinks are so good.. you can't go wrong especially during happy hour.. love coming here ❤️
I really like their chicken mole burrito and margaritas. It's really the only thing I've had because I just love mole so much. It's always consistent even after years of going there, and they're always really pleasant. The backyard area is fun and refreshing. It gets pretty crowded pretty quick though!
Such a great vibe every time I visit Rachel's. The food is delicious, the $5 frozen margaritas are even more delicious, and the area is great too. I've been to Rachel's plenty of times and it's been a good experience every time. My only complaint is that it does get extremely crowded at times so you may experience long waiting periods, but it's still cool lol
Delicious and affordable Mexican food, you can feel the California love once you step inside. I brought some buddies who do their best to keep it kosher and the waitress warned us about which foods contained pork lard - much appreciated. Myself, I am obsessed with the carnitas, and highly recommend giving those a try. Also - $4 margaritas? Perfection. Be sure to look up - I didn't notice the decor on the ceiling til my third visit!
Love this place. Great food and great atmosphere. I love the nachos, burritos and especially the frozen margaritas. It is a fusion of mexican from California and Texas. I go here quite often and the staff is usually friendly. Can't keep me away!
My roommate and I have been coming in here as a post golf round tradition and have taken many of our friends here. We always preface by saying, the atmosphere is wild, the margaritas are strong as hell, the food is pretty good and the service is some of the worst in NY. I've even been in with my mother and the server, who was actually there last night, was the rudest I could have possibly imagined with only our party and one other table in the restaurant. We had the pleasure of having Stephanie serve us last night. She was quick, had a great attitude and smile, and made it seem like we were her only table. I work at a 5 star hotel in Manhattan and her level of service would be admired even at a place like that. She should be commended for her efforts and the other girl who has been there for a while and who served with her last night who I've never bothered to learn her name should learn from her. Well done Stephanie!!!
Rachel's Taqueria is a great little mexican spot! If you go def order Rachel's burrito... it is delicious!! I came here on a date with the lady and we enjoyed ourselves. We drank and had great food. The price was a bit expensive but overall everything else was great. Definetly coming back!
Exactly what I like, I tried the grilled chicken fajita that comes with rice, beans and more, was great!
Tried a surprisingly good very basic quesadilla.
Tortilla chips & salsa was also vey good.
Service was excellent and so was the bill.
Highly recommended.
