We had chicken soup and matzo balls and hummus and pita. Both delicious and full of flavor. Don't expect fancy food. It's plastic forks and spoons etc, but really authentic tasty kosher food. And reasonably priced too
Food was fast hot and good couldn't ask for better as you can see that's all that's left
This place in amazing! Food and ambient are both incredible. High class dishes and great service. The stake was very delicious and perfectly spiced. I high recommend this restaurant and its food.

After living in Crown heights for a few years and trying all the kosher restaurants in the neighborhood, I can definitely say that Mendy's delicatessen is the best place to eat. The most friendly and welcoming atmosphere, fresh and clean food and kitchen. The best kosher place in Brooklyn and crown heights. You must try the exceptional pulled beef which is the best I ever had in America. If you like Israeli food try the authentic hummus and Shuarma. Special menu for families. hot-dog and burgers are perfect for your kids. Have fun and don't forget to leave a 5 star review...
Natty of Mendy's catered a beautiful Sheva Brochos for 40 people on last Friday night, in the foyer of the Children's Museum.
As we planned the event he was easy to work as we sorted the menu . The result was 4 superb courses of very enjoyable food. . It all tasted amazing especially the chicken soup which received loads of compliments. The portions were very generous and the staff both friendly and helpful. We finished around midnight but there was no feeling of being hurried to leave.
