My husband found this place online while trying to find us a new neighborhood spot to eat. What a hidden gem! Clean eating at a fair price. The food was delicious and so were the drinks. We loved everything! This place was phenomenal and we'll be back!
They really must change their name. I never even considered glancing twice at the outdoor menu: I don't work out; I don't need high protein fitness food. I don't go to Fuel for the same reason. In fact, I was going to try to talk my wife out of going in. Until I actually read the menu. Not fitness food, rather good food, with a Brazilian accent. Absolutely unexpected, and very welcome. But, seriously-- the name needs to go. They been open for months, and I never even considered stepping in. Ordered from Palmito, the very good carry out only Brazilian place that appeared to be the kitchen for Gourmet Fit. We'll be back. Fine cocktails, as well as food.
Absolute hidden gem in bay ridge. The food is phenomenal, quality is top notch, and the space ambiance is great. The food was great. I couldn't believe how great everything tasted. The sauces were magical, and it definitely had me saying wow. And that's what i look for that wow factor, and this place definitely had the wow factor. Drinks were great as well. Staff and owner Rafaela was great as well. Definitely, the gem in Bay Ridge must go too spot
Love this place. Food is delicious. Had the smash burger and yucca fries the other night. Delicious!! Leo is the owner and absolutely very hospitable. Love all his dishes from the BBQ meat board, smash burgers and his brunches on the weekends. All are delicious!! Thank you Leo. Cant wait to go back and try his Brazilian stew. Exquisite experience. As another reviewer write, Sarava , as stated in another review, is a hidden gem in Bay Ridge. The menu is totally unique and on par with a midtown Manhattan restaurant. Though we no longer live in Brooklyn, we travel from Rockland County just to dine here. Some of our favorite foods include: the crab cake appetizer and the entree of Bobo de Camarao is a must, as is the pear tart with gelato for dessert.
In addition, the Brazilian drink, Caipirinha, made with Brazilian rum is delicious!! You MUST COME HERE to try it all!

As a long time fan of Saravá Modern Bistro, I wonder where I should start reviewing one of my favorite restaurants in Bay Ridge Brooklyn?? I can start by telling you about the delicious food, or the cozy atmosphere on its dining room, the adorable backyard, or the wonderful hosts and owners, Rafaela and Chef Leo, who have become family with how often they’ve hosted our many special occasions.
But, let me start at the drinks! 🍹If you’ve never had a Caipirinha, run don’t walk to Saravá and order their Caipirinha flight and taste 5 different ones! The Prosecco Pop is the perfect Summer drink and if you’re a beer fan, our favorite is the Saravá IPA on draft.
Food-wise, I’ve got 2 dishes on repeat: The Yucca Gnocchi and the Bob de Camarao - each hearty dish is perfectly executed each time you visit. We’re there often so at this point we’ve had everything on the menu but those two dishes have a special place in our hearts. All the appetizers are delicious. And don’t pass on dessert … order the Brazilian Carrot Cake or the Flan … you’ll thank me later!!

I came here for my first time yesterday because of some of the positive reviews I have seen on Facebook. This place is awesome. The service and food is great. I got the Surf and Turf Burger with the Truffle Fries. Let me tell you...those fries were addicting. I kept dunking them in the house made Chipotle Mayo sauce. I don't think I ate them...I inhaled them. Everything is organic and fresh when it comes out. The place is very clean and the garden in the back is so charming. I will definitely be back!

The best Brazilian food and cheese bread ever!! I always have great experience at this place. The service is amazing and everyone is friendly and kind. The food is delicious and they have a great selection of wine and cocktails. I highly recommend visiting Saravá Bistro.
My daughters and I went for a lovely all girls Valentine's Day brunch! They made the fare look absolutely scrumptious, was artfully plated and even though my be youngest daughter is 8 years old, she was appreciative of it. We all felt so normal again for a little while, it was great. I used to come here for their brunch about once a month when my daughter would be in her ballet class and I was so pleased to be able to come inside for indoor dining and enjoy such a delicious and affordable meal with my DD's. Will be coming in regularly again as long as they remain open! By the way, they have an awesome outdoor dining space on their back deck. I mean it's really nice. Please come in and support our restaurants!
The caipirinhas are excellent! The food is also extremely flavorful. It's a small establishment so you get a lot of attention from the waitress as well. I've been quite a few times and I'll keep going back. I recommend stopping in for a meal if you're in the neighborhood.
