This place was a solid 4/5. It takes a lot to get a 5/5 so know that a 4/5 is saying a lot. The food was delicious although the guac could have been seasoned a bit with a lot more spice. My sister and I enjoyed every bit of our entrees. The pork was tender and delicious. The beans were perfectly spiced. We were both in good comas when we were done. The atmosphere was laid back and enjoyable. The service was impeccable! It's a small place but the experience was definitely worth it. Can't wait to go back and try other dishes.

This restaurant is a nice, cozy little spot. My boyfriend chose this restaurant. The owner I think is also the bartender, we had this drink, frozen passionfruit mojito, OMG, the drink was awsome, I could have had 4 of those but I stopped at 2, it was a special for the night, they should add it to the menu too, it a HIT!!! NOW, LET'S TALK ABOUT THE FOOD!!!! The food was, well seasoned, delicious and amazing, the aroma alone was very enjoyable. I had the spicy shrimp in home made sauce, delicious. You must try the ceviche shrimp, it's was a sharable appetizer, but trust me, once you taste it, you may not want to share it 😜. The only thing is that they ran out of yuca, but next time I visit, hopefully they will have it available. Columbia in Park Slope will see me again!!!

Have you ever gone to a restaurant and even before you left you wish your bed will find you and take you home. Because the food and drinks was good all you wanted to do after was just sleep. This is that place check them out if you are craving good Columbian food.

This restaurant is very welcoming! The staff are super friendly and nice. There were lots of table options when we visited so we got to choose where we wanted to sit. We chose the backyard patio. There’s lots of decoration and it feels clean. The waiter presents us with iPad menus which is a first for me but it was interesting. We ordered the sancocho, shrimp ceviche, and corn empanadas. The ceviche was on the sweeter side for me. It had tomatoes and onions which were refreshing. Dipping the deep fried plantains into the ceviche sauce was very yummy. I thought it was funny that they garnished the plate with a tiny amount of lettuce and carrot. This would be the same lettuce and carrot in the salad that comes with the sancocho which is a beef rib soup with root veg. This dish was absolutely amazing. It tasted so hearty, warming and nourishing. Maybe it’s my nostalgia kicking in but it really made my insides warm and fuzzy. The corn empanadas we got were good. The waiter recommended one of each flavor so we got cheese, beef and chicken. I’m not sure if Colombian empanada filling is normally a mixture of meat and root veg but in this empanadas case, the filling was a mixture of 20% meat and 80% root veg (yucca?) I would have preferred more meat. All in all a solid experience, if I ever myself craving a simple but nourishing bowl of soup I will come here and order the sancocho.

Can’t wait to come back here for more. I ordered the chicken with mushroom sauce and it was one of the best dishes I’ve had in a while. Felt very comforting with rice, beans and plantains that were sweet and soft yet crispy on the ends - perfection. Get the spicy sauces - there’s a green and a yellow, both equally delicious to drip on each bite. I tried the tamarind cocktail and it was a tiny bit spicy but full of flavor and not too tart. Service was very welcoming and friendly. Sitting at the bar is a little tight with lots of people coming and going but it allows you to absorb all the lively energy. Family friendly and good for groups or dining alone. Will check out their back patio next time during the day.

The place is cosy and cute, it had lots of Valentine's day decorations when we came. We tried various margaritas and all were good. The shrimp ceviche was refreshing and flavorful. We got the appetizer sampler. The empanadas were quite large, the vegetable one was particularly good. The guacomole was delicious. I thought the fried plantains were a bit dry but my husband loved them. We shared the Parillada Colombia and the steak was perfectly cooked, tender, juicy, flavorful. The shrimp was also very good. I thought the chicken was a bit dry but had great grilled flavor.

Very yummy Colombian food at @colombia5av and they serve fresh guava juice that I’ve really missed! My chicken rice was delicious and the creamy mushroom sauce went with it perfectly! I was so full halfway in but I just couldn’t stop eating! Tummy was definitely a bit too full from the good food🙈

My BFF Yasmin Took Me Out To A Beautiful Restaurant For My Early Birthday Gift, Let Me Tell You This Place Was Small But It Was The Best Restaurant I've Been Too, The Food Was Absolutely Amazing Sooooooo Good.. We Had The Roast Pork, Rice And Beans, With An Amazing Salad, Like This Dish Comes With Your Individual Pernil Bone Came Off Like Butter And The Taste Was Amazing.. The Guac With Tostone Chips Amazing, And The Coconut Flan Which I Had Dilloooooo But The Bread Pudding With Ice Cream There Was No Words Melted In Your Mouth They Make It Individually As People Order It So It Comes Warm Omg!! No Words.. Place Was Amazing.. Food Was Out Of This World. Then In The Back Of Restaurant There Is A Outside Tent Like Spot That Is Beautiful With Salsa Music, Inside Restaurant You Hear Music Too But In The Back It's Louder Soooo Pretty. Loved Everything About This Place And The Staff Were Friendly And Very Attentive To Thier Customers "Colombia In Park Slope" Ty Soooooo Much Yazzy ❤️ 😘😘😘 Can't Wait To Go Back Again I Want To Try Everything On Menu.. 😋😋😋😋 Happy Birthday To Me 🎂

We were welcomed with shots during this last visit😅😍 I was here more than a year ago for a friend’s birthday and never stopped thinking about the bistec a la criolla. Finally returned this past Friday. I introduced my friend to the same plate from a year ago. We enjoyed it so much that she had to go online and search for the recipe. Great service and food🇨🇴
