Honestly I'm unsure of why this place has such a poor rating (3.8 at time of dining). It almost made me skip it, but I was staying close by. Glad I did! With a sushi bar and a perfectly sized (and priced) menu, it was exactly the kind of chill sushi place I was looking for. Obviously locals know something (and should rate accordingly) because the phone and takeout orders was constant during my Friday night solo dining experience. They couldn't catch a break!
I saw complaints about service - I was paid attention and got my food quickly and courteously. I think previous diners may have had high expectations, but this is a friendly, easy, attentive, and inexpensive neighborhood sushi spot. I will come again before I leave the area.
Good sushi deal on Uber eats. BOGO on rolls and appetizers.
The sushi is good and it's quiet. Love eating there
One of the better sushi options in park slop I love Kiku!the ambiance is cool and relaxed the food is great and service is good
Old sushi staple in Park Slope. There are better places to go in this area these days though. Great big goldfish and tank that I would miss tho
Great food, great prices! Definitely will come back. The Spicy Crunchy White Tuna Roll and the Eel Avocado was great!
Lovely, clean place serving an array of sushi rolls plus soups, salads, noodles, lunch and dinner boxes and special kitchen entrees. We had the wasabi dragon roll, shrimp and vegetable Tempura and pork Katsu. Everything was very tasty and most enjoyable.
The beef teriyaki was absolutely amazing and mouth watering especially since I had it with the sushi rice
The lunch special spicy salmon salad was absolutely delectable
The Green Lady lunch special not bad. A bit too tangy for my taste yet also delicious
I had katsu at this place. The portion is really big. Shrimp tempura is also good
Great Sushi rolls that have an emphasis on the fish, complimented by the veggies, rice, and sauces. Pricing is reasonable as well.
