We had a welcome reception on Friday of our wedding weekend at Park Slope Ale House and cannot recommend the venue and the entire team highly enough! The venue was perfect for the event, with drinks and food for all of our guests and the space was super warm and welcoming and well decorated. The team of people working there were truly incredible: they helped us with the food for guests with food allergies and proactively communicated with us the whole time. Someone even specially checked in on my soon-to-be wife to make sure that she had everything that she needed and was getting enough food and drink. The food was great and so was the service. The bartenders were lovely. We are so thankful that we had our welcome reception at Park Slope Ale House and love everyone that helped pull it off!
The best burger in Park Slope, dare I say … in all of Brooklyn! The best way to describe it is a perfect gourmet backyard barbecue burger taste. The fries are right amount of soft and crunchy. And everyone that works there are like the nicest people ever … and, it’s Park Slope, so very kid friendly but still with a great neighborhood bar vibe.
I've gone to this place on and off since it first opened 30 odd years ago. Hadn't been there for a while because the last owner paid zero attention to food. That has changed in a big way. I'm glad to add this back to the rotation of local places to have a beer/cocktail and dinner ... with a ballgame.
The newly renovated park slope ale house is better than ever. Great atmosphere, great drinks, and a great new food menu. Thrilled to see so much care put into a great neighborhood bar
Not sure why anyone here would talk about a poor experience, this place has been much better since the new owners took it over. Food is delicious, place is spotless, Mike and all the staff are incredibly helpful / friendly, AND they kept the charm of the place when renovating. Proud to call his a neighbourhood joint.
Nice place! Great atmosphere! Good food! Friendly staff!
We really enjoy the atmosphere and delicious Nachos and Pepper 🌶 Poppers at this friendly Ale House. I wish we could have had more of that home-made cheese sauce the Chef/Bar Keep recommended! It was too good. Also our granddaughter and myself enjoyed playing golf on the game machine. Thanks for a pleasant time Park Slope Ale House.
Since the renovation about a year ago it's no longer a cozy, quiet neighborhood bar. The tables are a lot more densely packed and you'll have to talk pretty loudly for others at your table to hear you.
The service was helpful and friendly and it was a great spot for an evening happy hour. It is quite a narrow space so hard for large groups to mingle and stand around. The drink was okay for the price - not stand out.
Excellent. Went here for drinks and ended up getting great drinks AND food. Beers on tap are well rounded, and cocktails really well made. Had the perfect martini. For food, I had the mussels and tried some oysters and a deliciously lemony Caesar salad. Good spot to hang with friends. And honestly great bathrooms: communal, clean, and available
