Essen Ny Deli - Brooklyn - Photo album

My sister and I visited this deli on June 5th - first time back in Brooklyn since 1984. We had a split potato knish with the complimentary corned beef, we shared a brisket sandwich and the pickles were to die for.
We just made a sium/70th birthday party in the “back room” of Essen on Coney. Everything was PERFECT! The service was great (kudos to Eric & Juliani) the food outstanding! They worked with me on the menu, adding, (not even exchanging!) when we discussed the different options. Everyone who came was v
Customer Service was great, just like the food is always amazing. Really enjoy eating at Essen NY Deli. They are also very accommodating when it comes to making a last-minute reservation. They happen to be also amazing if you want to take a family photo as well while you're there.
This is the second year in a row we went to Essen while visiting NY from Israel. Both times it was a great family experience with wonderful memories. We had a variety of dishes, from poppers to corned beef sandwiches and a variety of burgers. All were delicious. Thank you for giving the Wax family s

Everything we ate was super delicious. Reasonable prices. Yitzy, the manager is always ready to help with a smile. I can't wait to be back!
Really good and authentic food, but the manager or owner (not sure which one) is rude and mean. We booked the party room for a large party and people were running late which I can understand can frustrate a manager, but even after they finished setting up for us, he refused to even let us in just to
I’ve been dying to have a Jewish deli pastrami sandwich and I went here. Good choice. The sandwich was great. The pastrami was soft, hot and tasty. I ordered the junior size and it was still big. I also ordered matzo ball soup. It was very good. The service was great. Even though there was an orth

Awesome food. Perhaps the only place which offers the old-fashioned New York style deli food in a nice clean place. Be sure to try the gravy.
