Food was good! Very flavourful but a little greasy. The doujiang with the youtiao was very nice and the peanut noodles are a must get! You can skip the pork rice and the cocktails…

This was the best food that I’ve had in a long time from a restaurant for brunch! Everything was exceptionally delicious and prepared in ways that I’ve never had before. From start to finish there were no complaints and we even had dessert! I can’t tell you how rarely that happens and I can’t stop thinking about the food! The service was so chill yet so attentive and the ambiance was perfect. The wait staff checked on us appropriately, made suggestions on food and even let me know what was in those delicious marinated cucumbers so I can try to make them at home. I will 100% be back for dinner and for that scallion pancake BEC across the street. Go here!!!

Fried eggplant was the most delicious dish ever. The crunch and the creaminess was next level. Scallion pancake was better than what mum makes. Super thin and crispy. The oil wasn't too rich. Fully recommend the crepe and the sesame noods too

Super hip and trendy atmosphere which was really cool. Great energy. Prices were really good considering the size and quality of the food - It is family style serving so it’s definitely recommended to go and try out different things. Highly recommend the pan fried pork buns. Definitely one of the best restaurants I’ve tried. Everything we ordered was under the waitress recommendation and it was outstanding. I also tried the special cocktail for brunch, the ang lee and it was perfect.

Quite delicious! Staff was very kind as well. Would definitely visit again and recommend anyone visiting the area to check it out. Try to get a reservation! If you don't like onions that much though you might want to make sure to ask to take them out. All the dishes we got with them in them had quite a bit. I love onions though so I didn't mind at all.

Excellent food in a dope spot. While the food/main entrees are pricey they are worth it! Portions were big along with such wonderful flavors. Definitely could order family style. Make sure to get the scallion pancake to start (or two) the sauce they serve with it is just out of this world. Lamb noodles were so good but they don’t have lamb chunks, instead they are made into like a lamb sauce that coats the noodles. Delicious regardless but just a heads up. The fatty pork is actually a minced dish. Service was awesome, every server has their own personality that it really creates a nice experience to chat with them. The restaurant is cozy and intimate but it feels upscale. A good balance of everything. I have nothing bad to say about Win Son and hope it keeps crushing it. Will definitely be back.

Good atmosphere. Food wasn’t bad - fusion Taiwanese, more on the fusion side with a BIG tweak. I appreciate the waitress trying to be suggestive (like it’s better to share plates here, “I’d recommend to order a rice dish”, etc.), but honestly felt pushed into ordering too much food for our table.

This joint thrives off of the atmosphere. It is really really welcoming and easy on the eye. Great hangout spot. Places like these sacrifice service due to their hipness. Don’t expect service to be super nice or have too much time; it’s not that type of place, get in that mindset. The food was delicious. The lamb noodles were great. We recommend the amazing chicken sandwich and the smoked tofu bowl. Expect food to be stinky, that’s just the vibe. Price is a tad elevated for what you get but again is to be expected at a hip spot like this. Come over, great spot.

During a recent visit to Brooklyn, I had the pleasure of dining at Win Son, a remarkable restaurant that combines Korean fusion with modern American flair. The experience was nothing short of delightful, as Win Son delivered a delectable fusion of flavors that left my taste buds dancing. Located conveniently across from their bakery, our dining adventure began with a visit to this sweet haven. The bacon pancake was a standout, perfectly combining savory and sweet elements for a mouthwatering start to our culinary journey. The accompanying array of amazing pastries made for an indulgent treat. Eager to explore more, we ventured into Win Son for a full-fledged feast. The dumplings were nothing short of outrageous, boasting flavors that were both bold and satisfying. Each bite was a culinary triumph, leaving us craving more. However, the steak tartare, while decent, failed to reach the heights set by the other dishes. It was a bit average and lacked the wow factor present in the rest of the menu. The restaurant itself exuded a nice ambiance, providing a comfortable setting for an enjoyable meal. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff who ensured our dining experience was smooth and pleasant. The warmth and friendliness of the people working at Win Son added to the overall positive impression. Win Son's location in a cool area of Brooklyn further enhanced its appeal. The vibrant culinary scene in the vicinity makes it a must-visit destination for any food enthusiast.

It is a pretty cool venue and I would definitely recommend a visit. The plates range in size and are mostly plays on traditional Taiwanese food with a tweak here and there. I visited with friends, so we tried a bunch of different stuff and were all pretty happy with our choices (those included the fried dough, eggplant, pork buns, basil crepes and scallion pancakes). Everything was pretty delicious, however pretty overpriced, which in the end took the one star off my final review. It’s pretty good, but was not great enough to justify the price at a premium.
