I was VERY IMPRESSED with the pizza I saw on display and the slice of pizza I ate (chicken caesar on spinach with sesame seed crust). From the look, to the taste, the pizza is of the highest quality, no extra oils or additives, all fresh. No drips even when you fold it, yet full of moisture and flavor, Daddy Green's Pizza hits the mark, I was highly impressed and will be returning often.
OMG they do a great sesame thing with the crust, it's really fantastic. And they have Dough doughnuts. So if you've got a hangover, you can get pizza AND Dough doughnuts from the same place. You know you want it.

Bring your patience! While the slices are prepared and reheated, the delicious whole pies are freshly made to order. So worth the wait, whether you order in person to-go or have your pie delivered.
The cooks are busy in this small establishment, so don't expect small talk. Ha! One is a lil' warmer/friendlier than the other, but both are courteous, so don't take it personally. They're cookin' 😜. Oh, and there's not a lot of seating, best to take your pizza 🍕 slice to go.
THE BEST PIZZA IVE EVER EATEN!! literally my favorite pizza, and I have been to Italy 😂😂and the ambiance is so so cool, and the prices are REASONABLE for the extreme quality. There is nice local art hanging up, and cool music playing, and the workers will bring the food to you! I hope they stay open forever! Try the margarita slice, treat yourself 💓
At the suggestion of our AirBnB host, we ordered delivery from Daddy Greens Pizza. We ordered their 22" Sophia Loren with jalepenos and garlic knots. Holyyyyyy bajeezus was it delicious. The pizza had a crust that wasn't too doughy or thick and had a surprising scatter of sesame seeds baked into it that added a wonderful extra crunch. The jalepenos and tomatoes were fresh, not canned, and the mozzarella was also fresh. We were told 45-1hr wait, but it was delivered in less than 45. Loved the pizza so much, we ordered from their restaurant again. This time, we tried the Super Mario and it was equally as delicious. The white sauce was creamy, the mushrooms were piled on in heaps and the delivery was quick.
Do yourself a favor and try this pizza!! They have a cool vibe and they keep art on the walls in rotation from local artists which is pretty rad.
Finally a NY pizza that blew me away! Forget about the other pizza places in Brooklyn. Danny Green Got you covered! The sesame seed infused crust i Just had was excellent.
Great pizza,cool vibe- local art on the walls- listened to few tracks of Section 80 while we waited. They have dough donuts and it’s not one of those hip gentrifying spots. It’s the community so directa yo feetza to daddy greens pizza!
Great pizza and one of the few that can deliver it and still be warm. Even great as leftovers the next day!

I love this place! Their margarita pizza is awesome. They add sesame seeds to the crust, which adds a delicious unique texture and flavor. Their sauce is on point both in its recipe, and how much they apply. The balance between crust, sauce, and cheese is just the way I like it. Hands down one of my favorite pizza joints in NYC.
I had the pepperoni slice here. Never had pizza with sesame seeds in the crust before and it really gives it a bit more depth of flavor than plain dough. Slices were nice and huge as expected in NY style pies. Prices were reasonable, staff was pleasant. I'd pop my head in here again for sure.
