This is a steak and burger place! Really interesting options for steak and they have a really good burger. The Brussels sprouts are amazing also! It’s in a great location and they even have trivia sometimes. They have speakers placed in interesting locations, pointed directly at 1 or 2 tables and don’t always play the softest music so sometimes you will have piercing music playing at you depending on which table you choose.

Very friendly staff. The food is amazing. They are very accommodating. We got there early and the staff was able to make an early accommodating for us while we were waiting for the rest of the party to arrive. Definitely he order their pancakes. It's very decadent. There omelette was very good and came with wheat toast and you can add a side order of the marinated salmon. Overall, this is a very comfortable place for a family gathering

Had such a great time here. My server Davey (I think that was his name) was soooooo nice. He didn't care that we asked questions about almost every dish. We bonded over our hatred of new wave music. He overheard me talking trash about Stereolab and joined right in. Definitely going back just for him. Oh and the food was pretty great too

Stopped by for a drink on the Thanksgiving night! What a gem! Cozy vibe with jazz playing in the background. At the same time it’s hip and trendy. Tommy the bartender was kind and knowledgeable. We’re definitely coming back. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Came for a friends 60th birthday overall the service was good and the food was good. Steak was nice and juicy and wasn't super expensive. The biggest disappointment was the cookie dough egg roll. The shell was def too hot for the cookie dough to be piped in and made it melt. The cookie dough wasn't very good either.

The food was full of lovely little surprises. The potatoes crisp in the salad lurking underneath the surface like Loch Ness. The creamy nodules in the lobster bisque lurking underneath the surface like jaws. The lobster bisque was thin more like lobster water than lobster bisque. The steak was delicious but a bit over cooked. I’d recommend getting it rare if you want it medium rare. The side of broccoli was to die for. The dessert was crème brûlée, it would’ve been five stars but they put way too much sugar on top and breaking through that was like drilling through the astroid in Armageddon. It was hard like rock. Our server was perfect. The host however was very snarky in a charming way. if this review confuses you… you’re right. On the whole, we had a great time, despite the room for growth. I cannot excuse however the toilet paper which was single ply

Randomly picked this spot with my friend and had a fantastic time. Food was delicious, drinks were amazing. Our waiter, David, was so delightful. Super attentive to our needs. The whole staff was great. Can't wait to go back!

Great restaurant! Brooklyn gem. The steaks were absolutely delicious, the beet salad, and oysters were great! Will definitely be back! Special mention to the maitre d' who got us a better situated table without us asking.

This is nice cozy spot, that I booked at the very last minute without any prior knowledge. The experience wasn't disappointed me at all. Very quiet and nice place with very pleasant stuff. The food was interesting and tasty. I wasn't really hungry, so I wouldn't try too many things, so I will definitely come back for more.

The NY strip steak here is soo good, I’m still thinking about it days later. Super soft and delicious at a medium temp. Our server Mike was also a sweetheart and made the best aperol spritz I’ve ever had despite being to Italy. Deff recommend 👌🏼

Great place to get a burger from. It was made well and presented nice. However, their hand cut fries are very thin, so thin they taste like plain potato chips with salt added. Service and atmosphere is great. I knock of 1 star for 2 reasons. A: The fries as mentioned B: they charge a fee if you use a credit card vs paying in cash. We got a bill for total cost, I submitted my card and got a same bill again with a fee tacked on. I enquired and was told it because i was using a credit card.

During Restaurant Week (7/22/2019) I came to enjoy a 3 course dinner at Benchmark and it was DEEELLLLIIICCCCIIIIOOOOUUUUSSSSS!!!! From my appetizer (steak and tomato salad), my entree (Mahi mahi), and cookie dough egg roll, I enjoyed every bite. An added bonus, I went on a Monday and it was half price on bottled wine! Enjoyed a bottle of Petite Sirah. Definitely recommend this restaurant to friends, family, or a solo outing like I had.

We had dinner... boneless ribeye, pear and burrata salad, seared scallops over risotto. Sides were brussels sprouts and goat cheese potatoes. All yummy.

Words cannot describe how amazing this meal was. Went here for restaurant week and I have 0 complaints. Nice, quiet place, with a small garden to take photos in. Our server was so happy and attentive. He recommended a wonderful sparkling red for dinner and then we enjoyed drink at the bar that was as interesting as it was tasty.
