Perfect little diner in Brooklyn Heights! It’s never crowded and the food is great. They have outdoor seating right on Montague St as well. We’ve come here several times and the food is always good. I recommend the Reuben, the chicken fingers and the pizza burger, classics and delicious. So nice to have a quality diner in the neighborhood.
Great small diner. Food was excellent (great cheese steak, grilled cheese on multigrain was also great, Greek salad was large and well-made, fries were done just right). The service was fast — the wait was barely over 10 minutes for the food, we got our beverages almost immediately. Very laid back atmosphere.
I mean, the food is good, if you get 'diner food', the other foods are to taste and basic. I mean you won't get the best of something if it is t specific to any particular cuisine. The breakfast is good. The place is either quiet or crowded lol enjoy.
Great place for brunch before a walk over Brookly Bridge. Extensive menu - berry pancakes are excellent, with a large portion size. Waitresses were friendly and attentive, despite managing a high workload. Highly recommend.
had a lovely brunch date here! the chocolate chip pancakes are luscious and the burger my boyfriend had was spectacular. super fast service, really friendly environment, and obviously the area is ideal. i would so recommend this place!!
Great hospitality, server was very personable, grilled cheese was delish, along with chocolate chip pancakes, BLT. Thanks for being so kind to us out of towners :)
Staff is friendly, it opens 24 hours, restaurant itself is neat and tidy. Even the food is just soso, still qorth to go during late night time as majority of the restaurant has closed already.
Nothing much can be recommended, si the food is not outstanding, but at least not bad. At least i can finish them all. They offer set dinner with soup or salad and a glass of pop or wine. Cheap indeed.
American diner open 24 hours with very large menu choice ranging from salads to sandwiches and steaks. Pies and cakes available for dessert. Friendly service
We got off to a rough start when the cook/server took a plastic covered menu from my eleven year old because he might spill water. When told that he could manage the water and the menu, the server began to complain about how much of a pain cleaning up the water would be.....it's water and accidents happen. Get over it. Other than that though, he made excellent burgers and we enjoyed the strawberry cheesecake and lemon meringue pies! Was a solid lunch for our pass through New York.
This little dinner is hidden between two larger buildings. During my first semester of college I use to walk right pass this place, because I barely noticed it. One day a group of my friends stopped here for a late night snack. The staff was extremely friendly, and our orders were taken immediately. The food was delicious, and the menu ranged from classical breakfasts to fancy pastas. There was also a Belgian waffle on the menu that came topped with ice cream, whipped cream and sprinkles. Everything on the menu is affordable, and can fit a college student's budget. The restaurant is always packed to the rim, but the service is so quick that there's always an empty table awaiting the next customer. I've visited this restaurant on numerous occasions and every meal that I've had has been amazing. I've been a faithful customer for about 3 years, and I'd recommend this place to anyone who is interested in great food for a great price.
