Maybe it is because it is August, or that they only serve pizza and calzones or that they only take cash, I can’t understand why there isn’t a line going around the block to get a table at this place. I don’t usually write two reviews for a place but my last visit solidified in my mind that this is the best pizza I have had in Brooklyn and in NYC for that matter. The thin Neapolitan crust that is cooked in their old style wooden burning oven is special, all the ingredients that are used are the freshest and the best. I would put this pizza up against anyone in Brooklyn or the five boroughs. Very non-pretentious, classic Brooklyn pizzeria. One other thing that I would like to add, to truly enjoy this kind of wood burning oven pizza, you must eat it there fresh out of the oven. To get it to go and put it in a box destroys the whole point of this style pizza. Not that I wouldn’t eat it cold and enjoy it but not nearly the best and proper way.
The is an old style neighborhood gem. They make one thing here in an old brick oven and that’s pizza. Except for a very decent calzone it is all about the pie here. These are the kind of thin crust brick oven pies that lend themselves best by being eaten fresh, hot and at one of their cozy tables. To go is probably okay but something is going to get lost in the process. Crust is crispy, tasty with a nice burn to it. Ingredients and toppings were fresh and complemented the crust just fine. It is a little on the pricy side for pizza but they are doing something good here and hopefully keep on doing it for a long time.

Immaculate Brooklyn vibes with the low lights, dark wood floors, brick oven and exposed brick walls. The atmosphere really sets the mood here with the old school music playing in the background. This is the best Brooklyn pizza you can get in Park Slope. You can get pizza or calzones- each are delicious. 10/10 service, Jillian was so friendly and made us feel at home.

Amazing pizza here, this spot is owned by the brother of Mark Iaccano of Lucali's, my favorite pizza in NYC. This place is almost as good as Lucali's but not quite there.
It is much easier to get seating though so if you don't want to wait forever, it's a good option.
They also sell a Nutella calzone for dessert and it's a must try.

This place is seriously slept on. Same quality as Lucali but so much easier to experience!!The owner is a friendly man who is very invested in making sure patrons have a 5 star experience. The restaurant has a real family feel to it. The pizza is AMAZING. the ingredients are very high quality and it was just so effortless to get seated and enjoy a great meal. Make sure you have cash and an empty belly and you’re ready to go ❤️

Pictures don’t ever do justice but Giuseppina’s is our favorite pizza in BK. It’s traditional Italian pizza and the flavor is amazing and rich. We love that the menu isn’t overwhelming, and they’ve nailed the style pizza. The staff are wonderful and the owner is so kind and inviting.
We would go once a week if we could.(Full disclosure- my partner and I are pizza snobs. We always try suggested spots and blogged about pizza joints. No thick sloppy, greasy, bland pizza for us. But you have to understand this type of pizza).

Great pizza, great atmosphere, great people. I’m born and raised in brooklyn and have been to the best and Giuseppina’s is up there for me. The pizza is very light which highlights the fresh ingredients. The pizza is kind of a mix between NY and Neapolitan style. Would highly recommend

Best Brick Oven Pizza I have ever had. At first seems pricey for pizza, but the ingredients are so fresh and they are generous with the toppings. Cash only but has an ATM On a quiet street in Brooklyn, we got seated right away and served our pizza in under 15 minutes. Great friendly service and the owner is an angel was soooo welcoming ! Great experience and definitely Brooklyn's well kept secret so seems like only the locals know about this amazing pizza. Will definitely be eating there again soon!

Wow. Not only was the pizza exceptionally delicious but it came out absurdly fast. If you're a dire hard Margherita pizza fan, bring your buds of taste here. They don't jip you on the basil. You like stem with your basil? Because I do. The lighting is great ambiance is transporting. *chef's kiss*

Great pie. It's cozy inside with the brick oven in the background, a fairly rustic ambiance altogether. The pizza was great, lots of flavor. I'll be back!

The pizza is WONDERFUL and the Nutella calzone is delicious too. Truly one of the best pizzas we've ever eaten in the city. Huge kudos to the single server holding the fort down on our visit who was incredibly efficient and friendly!

Can I just say Wow. Could possibly be the best Pizza of my life. Ambiance is on point, music is great, people were welcoming and the pizza was seriously to die for. I’ll be having this every time I’m in Brooklyn. They ONLY serve pizza and Clazones, which means they are crazy good at that. We ate an entire pizza between two of us.

I enjoyed the pizza from here.
Let’s be honest, you went here because you heard the owner is related to the owner of Lucali.
The service was on point - lightning fast, cash only, 10-15 minutes wait for a pie.
The pizza was delicious - good dough and good sauce, you can’t go wrong there.
I’d love to go back.

This place specializes in one thing and one thing only: pizza, and they do a pretty good job! We ordered the base pizza pie with red bell peppers, onion, mushrooms and baby arugula. The crust is thin, the tomato sauce has a rich flavor, the basil is fresh. In fact, pizzas are prepared in an open space right in front of the seating area where all ingredients are laid out ready to be used. The ambience is nice with music oldies playing in the back: Sinatra and Edith Piaf amongst others. Will definitely come back!

This place was recommended to us and I'm so glad we went. The atmosphere is really personal and the waitress was sweet and attentive. We ordered a $40 pizza (for the hell of it, we had to taste a $40 pizza...) and they sliced up all of the veggies on a mandolin right in front of us, tossed a bunch of fresh basil on the top, and fire roasted it. I'm pretty sure it was the best pizza we ever had. It's possible that we were just really hungry, but the left overs the next day made a perfect breakfast to start a busy day.

First let me say that the pizza here is outstanding! The crust... Amazing! The sauce... Delicious! The toppings... So fresh! There is no fault I could find with the pizza. But don't think you can order something else off the menu... There isn't. And there doesn't need to be, they make amazing pizza. The service was excellent. Only 4 stars... So what's the catch? Well... They have a couple of faults the first I have is the volume. When there is a room full of people the sound reverberates throughout the room. I'm sure there is very little they can do about that. Second fault is how dark they keep the restaurant, when you need the flashlight on your phone to read the menu it's too dark. The staff said that's the way they always keep the restaurant. When I order half hot peppers, I shouldn't have to use a flashlight to see the toppings of my pizza, no matter what wonderful the taste is.

The best thin crust pizza I have had to date. We had a cheese pizza with beef pepperoni. Cash only!
