Giando on The Water is an event venue and restaurant located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Whether it be for Indoor and Outdoor Affairs, Weddings, Anniversaries, Birthdays, Reunions, Bar Mitzvahs, Giando can host your next event. I had the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful cocktail hour and dinner at Giando on the Water...... I truly enjoyed myself. While the dinner was decent, the cocktail hour accompanied with delicious appetizers really stole the show. Seriously, they had me at bacon wrapped scallops....
Loved it!!. I had my wedding there and everything was perfect! First of all you could not beat the view. The staff went above and beyond and the food was great. Joe the manager was great. I must have called him 20 times in the weeks leading up to the wedding. He spoke to me calmly and answered all my questions as if it were the first time I called. I highly recommend Giando.
Gorgeous waterfront views with exceptional service and delicious food. Giando has been my favorite restaurant since my father first took me here when I was just 7 years old. I have been a regular customer since. In 2007 I got engaged and without hesitation decided that the wedding must be at Giando on the Water! Our wedding was the most spectacular event I could have ever imagined! Hands down, THE BEST OF THE BEST!!!!! I
Had the best time celebrating my engagement at Giando. I also had my sweet 16 here years ago! Joe and Lucy made sure every thing was perfect. The food is outstanding. The views are magnificent. I will always reach out to Joe for future family parties to come!

I coordinated a fundraiser Gala at Giando on the Water and had a wonderful experience. Joe was incredible and accommodating throughout the entire prep/planning process. He responded to questions and last minute requests immediately. Lucy, one of our maitre d’s was helpful and pleasant to work with. She helped out immensely during setup and went above and beyond on the day of the event. Paul was also kind and helpful! The staff was professional and friendly. They made sure that our guests were tended to and went out of their way to ensure that I had something to eat during cocktail hour and the main reception. I’m usually so busy during events that I don’t have the opportunity to stop and eat and they made sure I was enjoying the delicious food too. Would 100% recommend and looking forward to hosting another event there in the future!
I worked a wedding here... First off food; Epic. The view; 🔥🔥🔥. And the ambience was warming. Definite five stars just because of the food lol. You won't be disappointed here.

I had the best experience ever! I had visit a few restaurants in New York since I got here, everywhere they say they’re selling an experience and that’s why the high price, but here I had the best experience and the price it’s completely fair for the great service and food. I didn’t ask the name of the person who served me. It was a older male serving today 07/07/2023 at 4pm. I wish I asked his name it was the best server ever, very patient and helpful. I’d definitely be back!
I had the pleasure of having my wedding here a week ago..it was by far the most beautiful night of our lives. Joe is amazing to work with. He is incredibly organized, detailed, professional, and knowledgeable. My husband and I are so happy that we chose Giandos to celebrate our wedding..my guests are still calling to rave about the beautiful views and food!!!
I hosted my daughter’s bridal shower on March 18, 2023 at the gorgeous Giando on the Water. The views are spectacular, the food was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic. Joe, Rodrigo, the bar tenders, the wait staff as well as the valet attendants were all wonderful. They are very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. My guests had a great day and my daughter was thrilled! I could not have selected a better venue. My family and friends intend to use Giando on the Water for future occasions. I also highly recommend the restaurant.
This is one of the best venue for any occasion. It's located in Williamsburg. The view of the bridge is amazing.
I was here 8yrs ago for a wedding and the view is still beautiful
I attended a wedding at this venue. There is a spectacular view of the city and bridges. Every server, and bartender were very pleasant. I couldn't not give it 5 stars in the food category, considering the party size, and the food was underwhelming. I requested my steak dish medium-rare but received something well done, nearly burned. Perhaps they mixed up the order for my table because 2 people didn't get their main course with the rest of the table and then waited a very long time for their dishes to arrive after asking the server 3 times for their dinner. All and all this is a very nice venue.
Our first visit was for a 65th birthday party. Now, we are here to celebrate Father's Day. We enjoyed our meals and the view over looking the Hudson river. It was an awesome evening.

I truly cannot say enough good things about Giando’s, my partner and I hosted an engagement dinner with 60 people in June and every part of the event exceeded our expectations. Joe was helpful from the beginning, spoke to him briefly on the phone and he immediately offered for us to come in and chat, tour the rooms. We ended up having a buffet style dinner downstairs with the patio. Our guests came in and out between the room and the patio, took pictures, danced, ate, you name it. You can’t go wrong with the gorgeous views of NYC but really, the staff was remarkable. Paul was our coordinator, he helped find me a place to change into my dress, he took pictures of my fiancé and I away from our crowd, he even went as far as going up before me to the changing room to turn on the air conditioning! Waiters and our bartender were so kind, they tirelessly took care of every request. They took incredible group photos of our family with skyline views, they came out perfect. I truly cannot say enough good things. We had the time of our lives. Thank you Joe and everyone else at Giando’s.
I had my bridal shower here today and it was we absolutely gorgeous! The room is beautiful with beautiful views! The food was amazing! Everyone said how delicious everything was!! Joe was a pleasure to work with from booking to the end of the party! I wish I knew about this venue before booking my wedding because it’s absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much for making my day so special and memorable!!
The food, ambiance and service for my daughter's wedding was exceptional. Joe Leone and his staff exceeded our expectations and were extremely attentive to all of our needs. Louis, Paul and Carmen made my daughter feel like a Queen bride! Many of our wedding guests said that they had never attended such an amazing event!! Giando truly was the perfect setting and made August 20, 2023 an unforgettable wedding day !!!
