Not only is LoveJoys a beautiful, chic location but its also ran by such professional folks. I recently hosted a surprise birthday for a close friend and reserved the balcony area. The bar minimum was reasonable, the main POC for the day (think her name was Serena) was extremely accomodating providing everything we needed for plates, they customized a special drink menu, allowed for decorations AND the DJ was on point. He was accomodating to request and never showed any annoyance. If anything, he was partying with us. My large group and I had a great time. Cocktails were also great (not cheap though FYI). I would suggest LoveJoys for any event, a cute date night/girls night out or just a time to dance on the weekend !

At first when Lovejoys opened it was my go-to spot for after work decompression. They have the cutest little outdoor area in the back. However once it started becoming more of a party destination, I backed away a bit. The customer base has gotten a bit sloppy and rude. That being said, the staff there is always kind and cool to me. Sometimes I still go, but earlier in the evening so I don't catch drunken people leaning over me at the bar

Hosted an event here over the weekend. Lovejoys has some of the best ambiance in Brooklyn, and an exceptional staff to go along with it. They are very accommodating and see to it that all guests have an amazing time while visiting. Would 10/10 recommend as a venue to host or just for casual drinks if in the area.

Lovejoys is definitely the next up and coming bar of Bushwick! The atmosphere is not only chic, but also whimsical, welcoming and filled with positive energy. You can come here for a cocktail, or three, or with a group of friends and it's bound to fit the bill for what you want out of a night out. I had celebrated a birthday here, and Aida was AMAZING to work with - flexible, transparent and hospitable. Her and her team made sure my friends and I were taken care of, and everyone was very kind. Lovejoys definitely fits in the neighborhood - yes, it's "another bar" but trust me, this place stands out for a good reason. Don't hesitate to try it out - fun atmosphere, crafted cocktails/full bar, and overall a joy (pun intended).

I searched for the perfect venue to host my birthday party for months, and I am elated that I came across LoveJoys. Outside of the venue being JUST as gorg as the images, I recently hosted my disco-themed birthday party there, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. From start to finish, everything was seamless, and the staff was lovely and accommodating. The drinks were amazing. The bartenders were skilled, kind, and knowledgeable, and they were more than happy to make suggestions based on our preferences. As for the organization of the party, Lovejoys exceeded my expectations. They worked collaboratively with my team of friends and family for set up and handled clean up without a fuss. The disco ball set it off for our other disco-themed decor, and Aida was lovely throughout. The kindness of the co-owner is reflected in how warm and enthusiastic the staff was. Overall, I highly recommend Lovejoys to anyone looking to host a fun and memorable event. The staff, drinks, and organization are all top-notch, and you won't be disappointed.

The MOST BEAUTIFUL bar in Bushwick! Lovejoys is perfect for special occasions, birthdays, private parties, or date nights. It’s quiet and cozy on most nights, and when it does get busy it always stays classy. The staff is awesome, friendly, and super accommodating for private parties. Drinks are delicious, and well worth paying a little extra. I threw my friend’s baby shower at Lovejoys and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Thank you!!!

We've been to Lovejoys several times since they opened & really enjoyed each & every visit. So I'm really surprised to see all these negative reviews land from what I'm guessing was a single event? As a Level 8 Guide, I visit a lot of places around the globe & I look forward to stopping by Lovejoys when I visit NYC. The atmosphere is fantastic, the staff has always been great, & I enjoy discovering the new cocktails they come up with. My recommendation -- Make a visit & decide for yourselves. I'd ignore the current rant. It's simply not representative.

Hands-down, one of my favorite bars ever! The service is impeccable. The atmosphere is so dreamy. I spotted this place one day as I was walking around the area and I knew it was going to be my new spot. Bushwick needed a place like this. The cocktails are just amazing and made to perfection. I will always come back to the bar. It’s my new spot!
