Review Black Brick Coffee - Brooklyn

It's my favorite coffee shop in the area. The staff is nice, the ambience is great, their coffee and drinks are the best, and their prices are great. If you specify that your order is to stay they'll also use proper cups, not disposable ones, which is also very nice. For pastries, their chocolate croissant and the tahini chocolate chunk cookies are wonderful.

Super cool coffee shop with delicious cappuccinos and chai latte. Friendly service. Great atmosphere and music. Cinnamon bun was a little on the dry side, but it was early afternoon, so. We'll definitely be back.

Black Brick Coffee's vibe is as rich as its dark roasts. The dark yet inviting interior perfectly complements the bold coffee flavors. Their generous seating space offers an inclusive atmosphere, whether you're out for a quick coffee run or planning to linger with a good book. Highly recommended!

Honestly I love this place. I have lived in the area for about 4 years now and this is by far my favorite place to sit and work. The backyard…truthfully hate to gas it up because I like that I feel like I have it all to myself most days…but it really is the best. They don’t play music outside, so you are actually able to focus. The lawn furniture is so comfy and there is plenty of shade for people who love shade and plenty of sun for those who love sun. There are a few harmless bugs, but that makes me feel like I’m not in NYC, so I don’t mind at all. Their coffee is obviously great, and the couple of pastries I’ve had are wonderful as well. They prioritize the experience here, so they have requests on the weekends that you don’t work in the cafe so people can socialize freely and come and go since it gets busy. But on weekdays, I have stayed here for hours at a time. Anyways, I love it here.

Very good espresso and matcha! Highly recommend checking them out for a delicious and relaxing coffee or tea break in Williamsburg. They have a true city oasis as their back patio.

Went in for coffee and was delighted by the lowest prices I’ve seen in NYC since 2010 ($5 oat milk latte and $3 double espresso) Coffee is excellent. The atmosphere is great. Dim. Rustic. Tight. Old school Brooklyn industrial. A lot of thought went into the place it’s clearly not cookie cutter “Brooklynaire.” Appreciated the computer free zone as we were able to get a table as soon as we got our drinks.

Good people who know how to make good coffee. The pastries are good also. Always taste fresh.

The owner is nice and always a smile on his face. We ordered an iced latte with oat milk and hot Macha latte with soy milk. Taste balanced. There are plenty seats offer you to take a rest or even work with your computer quietly. Of course you can also order a to-go. The door is wide open so the room is very ventilated. Overall a comfortable place with reasonable price and good coffee!

Great drinks and cool atmosphere but super weird encounter with the staff. Asked for an ice latte (and we made a joke about getting an iced drink in cold weather) and a hot latte came out. We politely said it was meant to be an iced latte and they said “no, you just said latte”. I felt weird but also stood my ground because we definitely asked for iced. They eventually remade it as an iced latte

The only espresso worth drinking in Williamsburg in my opinion, and also the most reasonable prices. People moan about the wifi, but most tables are laptop free. For me this is nice, people go there and read the paper not trade stocks. But again, truly excellent and consistent espresso.
