Very nice dining experience. I went with my girlfriend, since we both have been meaning to try out the LES location. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The beer selection and wine selection is vast. We had the happy hour prefix menu. The portions were just right. The curried snails is a very
Quaint little place!!! We only went for dessert but the entrees other guests were enjoying looked fabulous. Plate presentation was amazing. The apple tart was to die for!
Last night, my husband and I celebrated an anniversary and decided to treat ourselves to "fancy-restaurant "delivery -- something we'd never done before. We landed on Gentleman Farmer, a neighborhood favorite. We'd been there for both brunch and dinner and decided to treat ourselves to a french onio
We come here a lot! Amazing food. The risotto is superb and the octopus is a must, portion is a little small, specially to share as an appetizer... The entrees are all delicious, we’ve tried most of them! Service is very good and the ambience of the restaurant is relaxed with adult vibe.
One of the best meals of my life. The octopus appetizer is amazing top 5 things I ever ate. The plates are well throughout, the presentation is impeccable, and the execution is top notch. The chairs are not comfortable. Everything else was awesome.
This is one of our favorite spots in Fort Greene and I feel it’s a hidden gem. There’s a great wine selection and the food is always delicious. The service is always friendly. Their beet salad is brisket is a must. You know your dining experience is off to a great start when the olive oil is mixed w
AMAZING! The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was stellar! Definitely recommend the grilled octopus and curry snails as an appetizer. The lamb entree was soooo good! I wish I hadn't eaten so fast but it was too delicious!
Really a quite pleasant surprise! We came here for a nice dinner, expecting just another restaurant. However we were pleased to find a well-above average experience. Our server was very knowledgeable about the dishes. Food came out rather quick and was all paced appropriately. Flavors of the venison
The food here is undeniably good and the service great as well. But two minor complaints. The seating is not terribly comfortable is one. And the second more important one is the whole place smelled like over powering air freshener. This had us wondering if they were trying to mask some other unplea
Great food! Hidden gem comes to mind about Gentleman Farmer. Don't let the location fool you this place has a menu and food quality to rival anyone in the city. For the foodies out there should you be campaigning for a Michelin star no, but get it is worth a taxi ride from any borough -- you will no
Had a great brunch here today with my mother and mother-in-law who were visiting from the Midwest. The staff was friendly and charismatic, service was great, and the food was awesome. I highly recommend the apple fritters as a dessert for brunch and the croque madame was one of the best I've had. We
There are many options on the menu and the staff is super friendly. The space is great for groups and kid-friendly. I’ve been there many times and tried almost everything on the menu for brunch and dinner and it’s always delicious. The banh mi sandwich, eggs Benedict’s and shashuka are favorites!
The food is fantastic. The service is great but a little rushed. We had our dinner in 45 minutes, check was brought with dessert. And fyi, place is quite loud when filled (~8pm on Sat). Loved the decor.
I've eaten there for dinner and brunch when my mother came in town. I had hands down the best meals I've had in NY in the past year there. Although the chairs are a bit uncomfortable and throws the ambience off a little, it is the best find for food in the area.
Wonderful inventive dishes and attentive friendly service. My gazpacho and snapper were superb. My husband really enjoyed the calimari with kohlrabi kimchee and salmon. Dessert and coffee also top-notch. This place is a gem in Clinton Hill-Fort Green!
Excellent food, made freshly and with alot of skill and care. Brunch was really tasty, music was good and the waiters very friendly. A good atmosphere too. Only downside was that it's a little expensive, but you get what you pay for!
Best short ribs I've ever had! Very nice pairing with wine as well, per the chef's recommendation. Among the best all around in Brooklyn!
