Cash only! Great place for drinks and snacks. I came on Saturday and didn’t expect they’d have a large space in the back. The happy hour cocktails tasted great and were strong. My friends enjoyed their pizza. We ll be back for more

The best pizza place in the neighborhood! Delicious! Delicious! They make a perfect personal sized pizza. Trust me, get your own. You will not want to share. YUMMY!

Solid brunch spot, went around opening time on a weekend without reservation but got busy quickly. Oxtail and grits was so good, the best dish on a cold gray day. $28 for a hefty portion, plus parm grits was thicker than most and definitely cheesy and savory. Friend had the namesake burger and it was good too. Endless mimosa was a good value too, they let you have 1 carafe/person at a time. You’re allowed to order more flavors but when a new carafe/flavor arrives you have to forfeit one from the table. Service was great. Bathrooms are clean.

Excellent food, fresh ingredients, & amazing blend of flavors. We ordered the jerk chicken which was seasoned perfectly and the mango salad which was do refreshing on such a hot summer’s day. My friend ordered the guava margarita and it was so good ! Highly recommend

The food was great, staff was super friendly! The Mac and cheese was heavenly and the cesar sald had actual anchovies! Fish tacos and jersey chicken for the main courses. It was yum

Amazing. The food was fresh and seasoned to perfection. It’s a bit spicy if you like that. I love it. The drinks are fab. Try the honey, jalapeño cocktail. Marley is the bomb server. Shout out to them.

The food options were so good I could not decide so I had both. The oxtail and grits was amazing as well as the jerk chicken and waffles was cooked to perfection! The staff is very kind and the place really gives you a Caribbean field one of my favorite places to visit in Brooklyn I will definitely visit again soon!

2021 Review: Mango Seed and Zurilee are now merged to one restaurant. Important note: THIS PLACE IS CASH ONLY. There isn't any sign of this anywhere, you're only told by the host right before you're seated. Good food, moderate prices. I wasn't the biggest fan of the drinks. Also, my party was the first of a batch to be seated, yet we were the last of that group to be served. It was only 2 of us. People had been served, eaten and was readying to leave and we hadn't been served yet. No reservations, so expect a wait depending on how busy they are. 2017 Review: Pretty good restaurant. It's family owned and cozy (or crowded depending on how you view it). Food is okay and service was decent. The happy hour drinks blew my mind! $5 and $6 for such delicious drinks! Awesome! We sat in the back ... view wasn't the best because they didn't decorate or make it look nice, it just felt like someone's backyard with a deck and some grass in the back. We wanted to go outside because the music inside seemed to overpower any conversation anyone would anticipate. I kinda felt like we should've been inside though, as we really felt left out from the crowd and the feel of the restaurant. Overall, good food and somewhat decent service, clean bathrooms and great drinks... it's a great place to grab a bite with some friends in the Flatbush area. Recommendations- if you're okay with loud music, please sit inside or you'll feel like you're just eating in someone's backyard therefore totally missing the vibe of the restaurant. Another thing is to make reservations ahead of time as there appears to be a wait time. My group had a reservation but while waited to be seated we overheard others at the bar talking about a 45 minute wait.

the food was tasty! a lot of people seemed to enjoy the crooklyn cocktail but it wasn’t my cup of tea. the other cocktails i had were good, tho!

Love the vibe! Walk in, the bar's on the right. A few tables for eating right after that, which leads to a hallway that opens up to more tables outside in the back. Outside seating has its own bar and dj booth so you get a different feel immediately once you step out there. Looking around I noticed a little tucked away seating area that looks like it could be for a VIP section or private little gathering. Now back to my seat inside... server was excellent, very fun and engaging, had us rolling before we put in our order. Drinks were made well and tasty. The food was also very good and MASSIVE portions!!! Definitely highly reccomend this spot!! Fyi - music is played loud so mix it with drinks and good food #movie!!!

Small cozy environment the DJ was playing really good music. I went for a Sunday brunch and I highly recommend you go early enough to take advantage of the unlimited drinks. I arrived around 1:50 pm and the table sign said unlimited ends around 2:30 pm. I ordered a 1/2 carafe it hit the spot but if you like your brunch drinks give yourself at least 90 mins prior to 2:30 pm.

The food is good. The portions are larger than expected. I am not sure about when they open and start serving since when i arrived there was a line outside waiting for them to open on Mother's Day. It is strange that they are a cash only establishment. Truthfully if they accepted cards we had planned to order a pizza to go. We plan to come again. They have contact tracing for those who dine in.

Listen! Their oxtail is the truuttttthhhh!! Worth every.single.cent. I have had it in three different occasions with their Mac and cheese and rice and peas. Girl! My goodness, my goodness! They maintain that same quality each time. AND they are not stingy with the oxtail sauce.My last order was to go and I did not want for sauce. If you want something real good to eat, these are your people.

Food & drinks are fantastic. Had the oxtail & bake pizzas. Oxtail pizza is hearty, feels like having a stew on perfectly cooked crust. Atmosphere is dope too, super diverse & great brick oven where you see the chefs cook pies.

Ordered fish tacos bottomless mimosa and Brooklyn wing for starters, them had jerk salmon and waffles with whipped cream and bananas! So damn good! Nice place small and intimate but great place to visit. First date or just brunch with the girls!

Waffles, fruit and salmon shouldn’t work together, but my goodness it does. Amazing brunch (with a really good value bottomless mimosa offer; they leave a jug at your table, so you’re not constantly looking around for a refill).

This place was on and poppin for a Saturday night. I was surprised by the fast seating for a party of 4 and the amazing food that was offered. We ordered 2 of the Oxtail dinners, a Rasta pasta and a fish taco. All of the food was delicious!!! And very flavorful. And I cant rave enough about the LIVE DJ. That man did his thang!!! It felt like we were in a night club. The music and the food will most definitely put you in the mood for a Good Time!!

Excellent restaurant with a great vibe. 1st time to the restaurant and we had a blast. Ordered Trio Mac- very different taste but delicious. Highly recommend it. Entree: jerk chicken, fish and chips, and oxtails- everyone at table happy with their choice. I highly recommend the jerk chicken. Drinks: rum runner is what I recommend. We will definitely be back again to experience Sunday brunch.

the service was exceptional, the chicken and waffles was great well season, i was a bit disappointed on the salmon and waffles i felt that the salmon should have had a bit of jerk sauce on it, it was kind of dry but over all i will visit again.

This place is great. Ambiance totally adorable. Staff very friendly and inviting. Waitress very attentive and is a doll! The fish tacos yummy and Ox Tail is superb. They make homemade Flan!!! The Flan was heavenly, whipped light and airy. I would recommend this place to anyone. I definitely will be paying them a visit again in the near future. Thank you for an amazing meal! Me and my twin sister had a birthday brunch here,this place is amazing the ambiance is adorable. They staff is very friendly and very attentive to your needs. The food was yummy yummy 😋 😋 I will be definitely going back here.

Visited from Boston for a conference...We happened upon your place and it was perfect! The food appearance, the welcoming staff and their swift service. It took a little while to get our food but it was worth it, the cozy seating wasn't so bad as everyone around us was friendly. Very good experience you're a little gem :)

Discovered this great place when exploring the neighbourhood upon arrival. Had the jerk fish tacos and triomac along with happy hour cocktails and it was exactly what we needed after a full day’s travelling from London!! Thank you!

Best fish tacos and mac and cheese I've ever had. The jerk chicken and waffles is tops for brunch. Wish they'd have more seafood on the menu though. Service could be better but the drinks and atmosphere make it a great neighborhood mainstay.

Overall this is my favorite place. The food The music Everything about this place is beautiful and I just love it. All good vibes. The service alone is just wonderful very nice people.

I went with friends who are into interesting meals and we were not disappointed in the presentation, tastes, uniqueness and service. Everything was spot on. The whole fried trout was perfectly done, the jerk chicken very tender and flavorful, the bronzini and salmon, tacos, drinks, all very good.

I went for my birthday...they were gonna charge me a $25 fee for bringing in my own cake and them slicing it up which they never did. The cake stayed on the table with me. What I had for dinner was good. Oxtail with beans n rice and spinach. The margaritas​ I had was great...It's a cool spot great for couples or just friends...bringing kids that are picky eaters don't need to go there.

This was my second visit to Mangoseed, the atmosphere is cool has a nice lowkey vibe. The staff is super friendly and down to earth. The food is yummy and favorable...I definitely will be back.

Always great food and service. I've tried a few things on the menu and they were all good. The only problem I have is the music is so sweet I forget and sing a few notes and give a little whine at my table. Stop tempting me!!

Recently ate with some friends at Mango Seed my first time ,and had the best time ever the service is excellent ,food good portions and delicious but most of all the staff were just awesome and i love the young lady who's the Manager her smile and interaction with customers the best i've ever seen at any Restaurant .
