The Ox Tavern - Brooklyn - Photo album

I had to revise my original review since I have frequented this place several times since my first visit. This is a really great tavern. I have never gotten a bad meal from this place. Everything I have ordered has comes out fresh and with a beautiful presentation. The service is fast and everyone t
Gorgeous little gastropub. We came on a hot summer’s evening, when all the long windows were wide open, giving the place an outdoor feel with a nice breeze. The non-alcoholic beverages were delicious (I had homemade ginger lemonade) and there was a really good selection of beers, wine and cocktails
Great small restaurant vibe the food is excellent and the staff are very engaging. The Thai curry coconut sauce on the mussels needs to be put in a bottle and drizzled on everything. Amazing portions and speedy service. There is limited seating so check ahead and see if they are at there busy hours.
This was our second Sunday there last Sunday was great but this Sunday was exceptional. The food drinks and service was on point, plus they have a live band that came to play. This is a great neighborhood restaurant that you should visit.
This is a delightful spot. The cocktails are a delight and the food is fantastic. Service is also excellent! You should really give this place a shot.
Absolutely loved the drinks! Staff is helpful and I like that you can ask anyone for assistance, not just your particular server. For cocktails I highly recommend the Rose Garden and Sunset on the Slope (pictured). Also got the Alamo burger which was very tasty! Just wish it had a little more BBQ sa
Excellent food and service. Very cozy outside dining. Tables are safely spaced and separated. Not far from prospect park. A hidden jewel of the neighborhood.
THE OX ROCKS. Set on a corner of a scruffy commercial strip and a residential street of gentrifying Victorians and century-old shade trees, the Ox Cart does the chalkboard-menu and dinged-furniture thing like many other neighborhood eateries in Brooklyn. But the Ox earns its stars with its food and
Quaint and welcoming. The food was delish. The drinks were off the charts. Recommend anyone to visit, all ages
Great New York neighborhood place. The ONLY place to go before a show at Kings. Sit at the bar and get a lesson on mixology.
Great food and amazing service. We did not wait for water and our utensils. The waitress was on top of her game. The food and drinks were amazing for a good price.
Wanted some Biscuits for brunch and these did not disappoint. Biscuits with gravy and some mimosas to wash it all down. The Ox Tavern is a cute corner restaurant to grab some food and drinks in the neighborhood. Oh did I mention Brunch?
Been a longggggg time i haven't ate here the last time i ate here was when yall were argyle and westminister the fiod is excellent but gotta come again
Delicious food. La Vaca burger was juicy and flavorful. The fire ant cocktail was my favorite. Definitely going back for more!
Cool neighborhood gastro pub that's serving up a cool take on Mexican-New American fusion. The seared Alaskan Pollock was surprisingly delicious.
Good service. Great burger. Nice atmosphere. Best restraunt for a couple block radius.
