My first time at Fortunato Brother’s was pretty good. Beautiful exterior and well taken care of bakery. Also very nice and accommodating staff. By far the best rainbow cookies I’ve ever had in Brooklyn. However, I was disappointed that when I walked in that there was no tiramisu available. An iconic Italian bakery not having Tiramisu is a bit of a shock and a bummer. However, I got the specialty cannoli and they were okay. I feel they were a little too hard and I only truly enjoyed them when I was starving around midnight. I would definitely go back for the rainbow cookies but I feel that’s the only thing I’d get next time. Also, they had no plastic bags so I had to buy a tote for $3.

the pastries here were absolutely delicious! i feel like i haven’t had a good tiramisu in a while, and i had a great one here. there are so few places now that i feel you can sit and truly enjoy time chatting with friends and this is one of the places i feel very comfortable doing so. the staff was very helpful & kind, can’t wait to go back!

Hands down a uniquely authentic Italian pastry shop and cafe, the way they exist in Italy! Run by a multi generation family that holds true to recipes and quality, Fortunato Brothers is 1000% worth the trip into Williamsburg for anyone looking for excellent Italian pastry. And they ship too!

We visited Fortunato’s during our visit to Brooklyn, and to say the least, it was amazing. I had to talk my self out of buying 1 of everything (at least 1). The gelato, the pastries, cookies, cakes, cheesecakes. The list goes on. This place is a must when visiting Brooklyn.

I bought a small strawberry shortcake that feeds about 8-10 people on 2 occasions and they were delicious. They have a chocolate and vanilla sponge version of it..Both were great. They don't disappoint. I recommend you give their bakery a try. Located near Greenpoint Brooklyn directly on Manhattan Avenue. 🙂👍
