Absolutely phenomenal food and service. The flavors and textures of each dish were full, clean, and unique. The NY strip steak was our highlight. The owner is very friendly, and we’ll be back!
Yup, 5 stars. If there's one item that summarizes it up, it's the focaccia. *Do not miss the focaccia*. It's the best one I've tasted. Came here for dinner (made a reservation) and we ordered: - cabbage salad (4.5/5) surprisingly refreshing and delicious, the green apples really brightened it up. -
Excellent experience. Loved the focaccia to start with the Caesar salad. I really enjoyed the tender rabbit on the spinach pasta. Excellent flavor. My wife loved her cauliflower brown butter pasta. Expertly crafted and served. Nice wine and cocktail list as well. I understand they probably lost a
Booked a last minute reservation for 2 last night, and it did not disappoint. This place had been on my list for a while, and we finally made it out. The food was really great and the vibes were awesome too. The space is a converted warehouse, so it is a bit noisy from everyone talking. The staff is
Very lovely place with friendly service and stunning looking dishes. Unfortunately the taste just didn’t quite live up to my (high) expectations given everything else (that’s excellent) about this restaurant. I’d come back to try their other pasta dishes since the ones we’ve had weren’t very memorab
Always an amazing place to eat at whether your solo, on a date, or in a group! Beef tartare, squid ink pasta, and bucatini are the go to for me. They offer half size portions of pasta which is incredible so you can try more dishes
Four stars simply bc it’s pricey. Very very small portions, albeit delicious and beautifully presented. Not 100% sold on value though. Interior is clean, spacious, not too loud.
This was our second time here and it was consistently amazing and delicious. The best small plates are the foie Gras and the shrimp. We got 4 pasta dishes to share among 4 of us. Our favorites were the squid ink pasta with lobster and the gnocchi with braised pork. I highly recommend this place. The
This place is a hidden treasure in Brooklyn! The pastas were our of this world. So tasty! It is a great not-expensive option to surprise someone for a special occasion. I love that they let you bring your own bottle of wine for a reasonable corkage fee.
Christmas Eve dinner at Faro - very creative menu with 6 courses featuring different kinds of "fish". Well balanced menu with a very strong start. Fluke is delightfully sweet and the slight sourness from apple plus the creaminess from avocado made a good combo. Crab mixed well with cauliflower purée
Been going to Faro since it opened and before it got a Michelin. Went there recently and the food flavor is amazing and complex. I love that they always serve or create a menu based on vegetables in season. The pastas are so so good, can’t go wrong with any of the choices.
Every meal here is delicious and inventive! The handmade pastas are coupled with amazing sauces. Perfectly cooked meats as entrees! It has a well deserved Michelin star and it only getting better and better!
Had a great experience ordering a meal kit and cocktail from Faro. Fantastic quality, good packaging, and really a bargain given the quality (kit fed 3 with leftovers, cocktail made 4 drinks). So nice to be able to have such a high-quality meal at home obviously made with care. Can't wait to try it
Came here with two other friends so we can order a lot from the menu, the starters while beautifully plated were not particularly memorable but the main dishes were really balanced both in flavor and texture. The pan seared scallops were the perfect combination of richness and flavor, while the Seda
Everything was excellent, but the standout was the vadovan caramelle. Also the sesame bread. The winter salad was also great. Don't miss the excellently curated beer list. It's all very good, just make a reservation already.
One of the best hidden gems in New York. Those you want to go out of your way and make a point to get there. Been a few times. Never tasted a bad dish. Absolutely incredible.
Soo soo delicious!! The SOURDOUGH FOCACCIA, GNOCCHI ALLA ROMANA, and TONNARELLI were all fantastic! Paired with a delicious espresso martini! And the staff was just as lovely as the food. Make sure to make a reservation in advance. Otherwise hope for seating at the bar.
