The only reason why I am not giving this place 5 stars is because is cash only payment. Let’s talk food. This has been one of the best brunch spots I’ve visited here in Brooklyn. The menu is very wide but I’ve only tried here the brioche French toast which are the best French toast I’ve ever had in my life. They are topped with strawberries, blueberries and apples that are prepared like the ones you put in a pie. Absolutely delicious! For $5 extra dollars you get to add eggs and sausage to this plate. I have pick of my companions dish, and they’ve been delicious as well. Also, it’s a very affordable place and has a very friendly atmosphere. Service is pretty good and welcoming. You can sit either inside or outside.
Thought this place might’ve been overrated due to the long wait but I WAS WRONG. This place is at least a 4.7.
The coffee was excellent and atmosphere too. The real star of the show is the cheese steak sandwich and pancakes as a runner up.
Really solid brunch restaurant, Parisian vibes & nice staff.
CASH ONLYYYY!!!!!!! Bring CASH!! there is a Bank of America across the street!!! the best thing was the Mac and cheese no bread crumbs once it cooled down and the French toast was great …we returned the fries and eggs dish with salmon that was NOT good and he took it off our bill which was GREATTTTT service thank youuuu!! We wanted brunch at 5pm lol
It’s always crowded but I didn’t mind it because the pancakes are amazing. I had French toast with apple compote and it’s crazy how good they are at making such a simple dish. Their niche are the pancakes but everything else looked good and the drinks were great. Service was nice and friendly but reminder they only take cash! They have an atm on site for us non-cash carriers.
We have been coming here 20 times already and only now I have reached the hands to write a review. This is a great place where there are great brunches and good prices. To be honest, not all dishes will be delicious and some may be below average, but huge portions and calamari or mussels are always great and you can't go wrong.
Fried Calamari probably the best that I have tasted yet.
Almost everything else from the brunch menu can be safely ordered. And here is one of the best margaritas in the area. The only cons here is that they do not accept cards, but there is an ATM inside the restaurant. Well, a huge plus of this place is the staff. The service is excellent.
And of course their pancakes are a must-try!!!

Stopped here for breakfast on our trip. The cafe is homey and cozy. You might not expect it from the outside. We got to sit near the door and there was the most amazing breeze. The pancakes are every bit as delicious as other reviews say they are. 10 out of 10, must have. The staff were lovely and polite, always making sure our water was full and that we were happy.
Cafe Luluc serves up some delicious French-style brunches. I had the spinach and goat cheese omelette with a side salad and the crispiest fries ever. Do note that they are cash only.
this restaurant is soo cute, I came with my girlfriend. we had the calamari nice portion for a app. i had a grilled sandwich with arugula and my girl had the pasta i lovee the french friess! and omggg the banana split is a must have for dessert. I enjoyed my night here the service was great they were fast and attentive. definitely need to come here for brunch
Pancake here is soooo good, not too sweet, perfect texture, soft and fluffy. Bloody Mary here is good too (I get virgin one). Good service
Great breakfast. Western omelette with salad and fries. Was really good.
For two people it was $45 including two coffees and an OJ. $10 tip total $55.00.
The guys are amazing.Every wait staff provided superb service.
Cash Only. They have an ATM 🏧 $2.75 fee.
Great place must go. Packed house every time. Only waiting 15 min
Cafe LULUc is my picky foodie friend’s favorite brunch spot in Brooklyn. He told us their pancakes is on the top of everything.
It’s one of the most popular restaurants in the neighborhood so the wait was bad at peak hours on weekends. We highly recommend to come early to beat the crowd. The decor was elegant and old-fashioned with cozy ambiance but it’s narrow-spaced.
They serve classics brunch options in a great variety and we got Pancakes, Pouched Eggs, Brioche French Toasts & Omelette. It’s overall delicious with good portion and reasonable price.
Our favorite was their fluffy and soft pancakes with crispy layer. I personally love their poached eggs which was cooked perfectly.
Definitely Recommend their pancakes 🥞 They are huge!
It has a nice simple vibe going on.
I went there with a friend for brunch and the food was good.
I'm a breakfast lover and it's safe to say that I was not disappointed.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Lovely spot for brunch. Backyard patio is nice and quiet. Food was good too
I’m sorry, but EVEN with the continued holdout for cash only, Cafe Luluc is all around 5 stars. One word locks their neighborhood dominance- pancakes. I’ll say it again. PANCAKES! Yes PANCAKES!!!!! They’re that good. Consistently and reliably amazing. It’s like they have a secret ingredient to make them so light and fluffy in the middle and crispy, crunchy perfection on the entire outer diameter. They could sell just the crust and it would destroy. No exaggeration.
We have 2 kiddos, so brunch with them is a thing. The ultimate hack is to have them order the pancakes, steal the key bites and offer compensation via French fries. Dipping the fries in syrup is a classic sweet & salty treat.
The egg dishes are also excellent and satisfying in all ways (and they all come with their own order of incredible fries). Recommended pairing of a Bloody Mary (served spicy when ordered regular). It’s a bit tiny honestly, but a great flavor and kick… you may need 2.. (alcohol side note) If you’re a sweet tooth the peach Bellini is bubbly forward and with fresh juice.
You’re going to get typical brunch crowds and a wait if you arrive during prime time (though they do open up early AM too). Fun, lively and slightly loud music round out the ambience they’ve been known for for decades. Make it a special stop if you are exploring Brooklyn or live here. Voted the best pancakes I’ve ever had anywhere by me for almost 20 years. Yeah, I said it.
Wonderful selection of brunch items! Pancakes with fruit were incredible. Really great food, the service was a bit too slow considering no one else was sitting besides us, but we still had a good time.
One of the best places for breakfast. The environment, the service and the food are all great. I ordered Egg Florentine the food presentation and temperature was perfect. Btw they have the best pancakes I ever tasted, EVER.
Love this place. Some of the best brunch in town. Friendly, excellent staff. Very nice outdoor patio for the warm weather. Note that it is cash only. Anything with eggs will be great, and anything I've ever seen anyone order has been great.
Atmosphere is very nice and the vibe is amazing. The service is spot on and happy servers. Food and drinks were good as well. Will surely go back. This place is cash only. There is an atm nearby if you need it.
Went for a birthday brunch on a Saturday. Expected it to be busy. We were seated right away however we waited longer than usual for someone to take our order.
