Review Iron Chef House - Brooklyn

Overall: 4.38/5 Food: 4.5/5 Service: 4.5/5 Atmosphere: 4.5/5 Value: 4/5 Would come back again? Yes Recommend: Fried Pork Cutlet, sashimi This is a good place to get Japanese food, especially sashimi. I got the sashimi deluxe combo, and those were the freshest sashimi I’ve had. Price wise it’s ok, it’s in NY so nothing is cheap.

A wonderful little sushi place in a great quiet neighborhood. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the service is very helpful and friendly. The sushi, especially the specialty rolls are very good, though some are less tasty than others. I highly recommend the 2014 and the Hana- both were surprisingly very flavourful and very interesting. Nothing like a good sushi place.

I recently dined at [Restaurant Name], and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a delightful meal. The staff were not only attentive but also genuinely friendly, making us feel welcomed.

Ignore any negative reviews - this place is awesome. Great staff, great prices and delicious sushi. We stayed six days in lower Manhattan and took the subway over to Iron Chef House twice. Nicely decorated for Christmas with traditional Christmas music playing. The Monkey Roll was SO good. We limited our selections to their sushi rolls. If we were locals we'd keep coming back regularly.

This is the best, most extensive menu of delicious Japanese foods- sushi, sashimi, rolls, teriyaki, ramen or udon noodles. Seriously, the menu has a table of contents. And it's all high quality ingredients. They have lobster, and Chilean Sea Bass on top of the usual tuna, salmon, eel and spicy stuff. Our server was spectacular! Friendly and genuinely excited about the menu and restaurant. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. You can tell regulars have been coming to this place for decades. Enjoy!!!

this is my favorite restaurant in Brooklyn! we go at least once a week. the staff is always friendly and the food is always so good. I just wish they made more teriyaki ribs for the combination box but I understand why they run out - it’s AMAZING! I definitely recommend this place and we usually get the bun appetizer, monkey roll, downtown tokyo spicy noodles, and combination box.

This place gives me life. Sushi is great quality at a great price, plus they’re very fast. In my regular takeout rotation.

Great food, price, and plating aesthetics. Loved how their salad has loads of different ingredients to add to the taste and texture. They are also extremely thoughtful in how they separately plate the shrimp tempura and the udon, some restaurants put the tempura in the soup and it gets too soggy. Really happy with the overall quality of food. Service was polite but quite obvious they were trying to rush us to leave at the end even though there were still a few tables empty. I don’t get what’s the rush, we ordered enough food to deserve a peaceful and well paced dinner and we were not disrespectful in any way either? Other than this, the restaurant is wonderful.

Great service and food was delicious. Server guy helped us a lot , setting up a table for us. We had a double stroller so we can’t sit inside , so even outside was full , he could find a place and set us a table.

I used to work in the area and loved the lunch options around here. Back for jury duty... First sushi lunch special I've had since before times. It was really well prepared, filling, and ver reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

This place is just too good. Today I accidentally ordered the wrong thing for takeout (my mistake completely). I tried it and it was UNREAL. So delicious. Every time my family comes to visit me we go here. The vibes are great the service is great the food comes out quick. The lobster ramen is unbelievably good. I usually get the yaki udon noodles with chicken. Fantastic. I just had these chicken skewer things tonight no idea what those are called but they were amazing. I’ve also tried the gyoza and shrimp shumai— both delicious. This place doesn’t disappoint.

Just happened upon this place looking for some lunch before I had to go to court. Ordered the seafood soup and fried dumplings. Fresh and delicious. So good I asked my son to change our dinner reservation to the Iron Chef House, and what an unexpected delight. We ordered the monkey roll, other sushi rolls and the broiled flounder yaki. Fresh, cooked to perfection, and so tasty it’s hard not to eat too fast! Very attentive and friendly waitstaff. I would highly recommend this modestly priced and amazing restaurant. I know I’ll be back. Thanks.

IRON CHEF HOUSE is my favorite Japanese restaurant in Brooklyn Heights. I have been patronizing with ICH over 10 years, never disappointed with their foods and services. Always have unforgettable dining experience! They have a diverse menu with large selection from sushi/ sashimi , classic rolls as well as creative and innovative sushi dishes to teriyaki, tempura, hibachi-grilled steak, and comforting Ramen soup. Every time when I walk in ICH , it's like walking into my kitchen! Food : freshest, high-quality ingredients. delectable, luscious, and amazing meal Service: Friendly staffs - Tara and Momo are so attentive , observant , pleasant and efficient. Sushi chef Jeff / chef John - very professional, creative, passionate, detail-oriented Ambiance: cozy , welcoming , hospitable, and congenial. So ,Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely Japanese cuisine . Highly recommend! I would definitely come back here again and again.

Ambience is nice. It’s a bit too dimly lit. Wide selection of Asian Beers, which is cool. Presentation, and food was good. Wasn’t the best sushi, but it was nice experience. Was a great night. Staff is friendly. Can see rolls being made literally a foot away. It’s a small place but they made room. Clean. Parking around here is bad.

Went here with my friends, was not disappointed and their noodles are amazing!! The lady was really nice, they have a cute outdoor dining area with enough seats for 8-10 people.

Iron Chef is our go to place when visiting friends ask us to take them out. Location-wise it is perfect, a short walk from the Brooklyn Promenade (the best view of the city, in my opinion) and quick to get to via many trains. The service is always quick and extremely friendly. The water keeps flowing and the staff loves to give recommendations if you need it. The food is always fresh and flavorful. There's a reason they made 200,000 monkey rolls in the last 18 years. You'll want to get 2 at least. Lastly, the price range is great. Especially when compared to the overpriced locations of Manhattan. Don't miss out on Iron Chef.

Ordered a monster salad today and bit into a large bone in a piece of white fish (I'm not sure what kind of fish it was). I was so disturbed that i threw the rest of my order out!

This is one of my spots in Brooklyn Heights. Food is amazing as is the service. This is a must stop in and enjoy. My favorite dish is the Chilean Sea Bass grilled in saki .

Today was the third time I have been here and it is always fantastic. Their steak has been flawless every time. The ginger ahi tuna is another standout. As is the pork and crab bun and all the gyoza. Do yourself a favor after you take your significant other to the Brooklyn promenade for a nice romantic sunset, take the 5 minute walk up Clark to this awesome hidden gem!!

From the distinct atmosphere to the beautiful Brooklyn Heights location, Iron Chef House remains my favorite sushi restaurant. The food really is top-of-the-line; other sushi places don't even compare.
