The food, the service, the ambiance - all excellent! Their flafel and hummus is one of the best ones I've had. Decent cocktail selection, their backyard seating option is beautiful. I try not to go back to the same restaurant given we have so many options, but this one is the exception.

One of my old time favorites. Food is always on point and the atmosphere is relaxed and cozy. Perfect for a date night, family dinner, meet up with friends, basically any occasion. Most recently I tried vegitable couscous and I must say - I think I found my perfect match. Can't go wrong with hummus and falafel either. They do have plenty of room inside along with the bar right in the front. They do get busy around dinner time, but anytime I came by, we were sitter within 5 minutes without reservations. Definitely give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.

Cafe Mogador is a small, cozy haven tucked away in the heart of the city, and my recent experience left me thoroughly impressed. While the service was a tad slow, the key is to plan ahead and order everything at once. The wait was worth it as the Moroccan Tagines with lamb shank and stewed apricot and prunes exceeded my expectations. The lamb was incredibly tender, and to my delight, there was no overpowering lamb smell, perfect for someone like me who can be picky about lamb dishes. For appetizers, the crispy cauliflowers and hummus were impeccable, scoring a solid 10/10. The tabbouleh, while not my favorite, still held its ground with a 5/10. The matbucha was a delightful surprise, earning a well-deserved 10/10, and even though I'm not a huge fan of halloumi, my friends enjoyed it, giving it a respectable 6/10. Surprisingly, on a bustling Saturday night, we didn't have to wait in line, defying the norm as per my friends' experiences. The cocktails were not only delicious but also beautifully presented, adding an extra touch to the overall dining experience. Speaking of my friends, they are already regulars at Cafe Mogador, and after this delightful evening, I can confidently say that I will be joining their ranks. The combination of a warm ambiance, delectable dishes, and efficient service (despite the slight delay) makes Cafe Mogador a gem in the city that's well worth a visit.

We made a reservation for 5:30 on a Friday and I’m glad we did. By 6 PM the place was packed. The restaurant was dim lit with cozy vibes. We got the chance to sit in the back room, which was filled with plants which made the air fresh. We ordered the hummus and falafel and the lamb with couscous. The couscous was amazing and the lamb literally fell off the bone. The drinks were good, but expensive considering the size.

Solid brunch spot in Williamsburg. Do expect a wait, but know that it’ll be worth it once you get seated. The brunch menu is lengthy and you really cannot go wrong. We opted for the salmon cake sandwich & the chicken pita sandwich. Both had great flavor and we left very full. Also, the wait staff is incredibly friendly!

Been coming here for a decade, never ever does it disappoint. Incredible tasty food, lots of spice if you like, friendly staff, lively atmosphere and just an overall great vibe. Highly recommend! The Zhatar blackened chicken was out of this world! Good wine selects as well! 6 stars

Its busy throughout the day so I recommend making a reservation beforehand. We had such a good time here. The food was amazing and well-seasoned. My favorite dishes would be the Lamb Tagine and Kebab with biryani rice :)

The atmosphere is truly amazing! There are traditional dishes special to Morocco, but I can say that the same time, menu is so close to middle east cuisine... The hummus plate was delicious... traditional tagine, I chose chicken and green spicy sauce( parsley, cilantro, and garlic). I would definitely like you to go and try it, only the couscous was like very small pieces, it was not at all good for my taste, but a valid note to total!

Arrived around 6pm with no booking and we were offered a table outside or at the bar, where we could eat or we could get a drink and wait for a table to come up on the restaurant floor which they estimated at 20-25 mins. We opted to have a drink at the bar and a table came up in the restaurant within 10-15 mins which was great. Service was excellent, friendly and prompt but not pushy. We got the hummus and babaganoush to start - hummus was good. Have had better babaganoush. Bread would have been a better eating experience if it was warm but was soft and pillowy. Mains I got the zatar chicken special - chicken was super juicy and delicious! Partner went for the lamb coucous - needs a little more sauce going on but otherwise nice. Meals are huge - you’re better to share one main between two! Cocktails were lovely. A very nice night
