this is exactly what a drive in is supposed to be. great burgers, corn dogs, onion rings with rootbeer or a shake. i LOVE this place. always friendly service and good food with that nostalgia that makes us all feel a little younger.

Great Burgers/Fries/Corn Dogs/Etc!!. This is your classic drive-in like you would find on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Great greasy burgers, fries, etc with fresh lettuce and veggies. A bit on the spendy side, but it is sooo good. They are open year round for driveup, take-out or they do have a very small inside dining area (4 tables as I recall). Reminds me of the old A&W, only better.

This is Americana, an Old Fashioned Drive- In with really Great Old Fashioned American Drive-In Fare.Famous for their Burgers, can't testify to that (Hello,Vegetarian), but Shakes, Malts, & Fries here have been sabotage to my ongoing diet more than once, & well worth the Calorie Orgy.

This is the best food I have had in a very long time! There onion rings are phenomenal and huge portions! Excellent food and priced just right! I love the service and friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend you try every item on the menu!
Yes, Wagner’s is a real old-time drive-in burger place. You flip the switch on a beat up menu and that signals a waitress to come take your order. Your tray hangs on your door window until you flip the switch again, signaling you are finished, and someone picks it up. The atmosphere is friendly. Relaxed but attentive.
But oh my, the burgers! I got the 1/4 lb cheeseburger (they also have 1/3lb) and it was beautifully seared and slightly misshapen (meaning it was handmade!), with cheese and fried onions and mushrooms and it arrived just off the grill and it was wonderful. The fries were crispy. The root beer float was heavenly.
There are lots of fine Twin Cities burger restaurants but Wagner’s is our favorite summer-mid-afternoon-relax-and-enjoy-the-moment-and-food-and-each-other place.
Most delicious roast beef deluxe sandwich I have ever had! Great fries, too! So happy they are open all year!
This place is awesome. Old school and very good. Best onion rings I have had in a long time. Awesome to see the small local business like this still doing well, keep up the great work.
Wagners is hands down thee best cheeseburger you will ever have. I always get the bacon cheeseburger (sometimes double if I’m feeling extra hungry) with onion rings and a root beer. The bacon is always made to crispy perfection and the cheese is oh so melty. The onion rings are never sogey and are also cooked to perfection. I just can’t get enough of this place and I don’t think enough people know about it!
Great place! Great Food! I went for the lunch the other day, it was fast and friendly service. They obviously are doing drive up and take out. I will be back again!
The food is always good and made fresh. For the most part the service is good, but with the dining room being closed you will sometimes stand out there for a few minutes before anybody acknowledges you. Usually not a big deal unless it's cold and windy.
