Serenade Chocolatier

Great handmade chocolate...great staff. This friendly shop is not only my go-to favorite for self-indulgence, but also for gifts. Their pinata cake is my favorite gift (they ship!) for friends and family. Imagine taking a little mallet and cracking open an artisan molded chocolate cake filled with a variety of handmade chocolates. I'm posting a picture of some chocolates I ordered for Easter; they arrived in great shape; the boxes were pretty, the candy was great. This is a MUST VISIT in the Boston area, but if you can't go in person, go online!

This is one of my favorite stores in Brookline Village. The chocolate is delicious - that's all you need to know. But in case you want more info, here are some more details. The store is tiny and the smell of chocolate inside is intoxicating. You can watch the staff making chocolates behind the display and counter. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful which is so important to me because I have a nut allergy and I need to ask about every chocolate. I get a lot of gifts here and I even did a custom order of individually boxed chocolates for my wedding (at a very reasonable price). My favorite chocolate is the lemon truffle.

Gourmet summer treat: hand dipped sorbet and ice cream bars. Vegan options, you choose sorbet or ice cream from four flavors and then you can watch while they hand dip a thick coating of either their house milk or dark chocolate. The absolute perfect indulgence for a hot summer day! Be sure to also read the touching backstory hanging on the wall of this lovely locally owned business.

I only wish I could stop by more often for the amazing chocolate! A friend took me to Serenade Chocolatier when I was visiting from Arizona and it was wonderful. They have such a wide assortment of flavors and sweets to try, there’s something for everyone. I ended up buying several boxes of assorted chocolate to bring back home as gifts for family. They were devoured instantly, of course! The unique, high-quality flavors are second to none and the awesome service makes this a place I’ll be coming back to, for sure.
