Sugi Sushi

Food, service, and prices are the best you can find when it comes to Sushi restaurants, the best one in the Bronx, I say in the Top 10 in the City. I try to get there at least once a month. Full Update February 18 2020: Ok First things first, I do not work for or have any working relationship with this restaurant or its workers. Now that being said, I love food and I am the kind of person that tries restaurants once and if I like what I get in the form of service and food Quality/Quantity will keep coming back for more. I no longer can have raw fish/seafood so I cannot attest to their variety of raw plates but the ones that I have eaten are above par. Before I found this place I did a google search of the top sushi places around my area, and this little place was number 3 in The Bronx and on the top 25 places in the whole city....THAT IS IN THE TOP 25 PLACES IN THE BRONX, QUEENS, MANHATTAN AND BROOKLYN. I love their service regardless if you are eating in or taking out, they are always courteous, friendly and fast. the restaurant has 2 sections to eat in the one in front has tables and chairs and tables and benches, the back part of the restaurant is more Japanese traditional with the small tables that are very close to the floor and where you have to kneel/sit on floor. The prices of the food are very reasonable, the quality of the food is exceptional, and the presentation of the plates is beautiful. I have been coming to this little restaurant now for almost 4 years, I try to get my food at least once a month, and even do is hard since I do not have a car and have to take a cab round trip (30 bucks) I need to eat from here. Now think about that, I am willing to spend 30 bucks to take a cab to eat here when I could just take a quick train hop to go somewhere else closer... That should tell you everything you should know about this place.. my favorite plates are: House special fried rice( I order with soy sauce, but it comes with out) Dragon Roll, California Roll, Zombie Roll, Spicy Kani Roll. Also the Chicken or the Beef Teriyaki Bento Plates among every other thing I have eaten here.

Great Food (a bit pricey)... but it was worth it. My Daughters first time having Sushi... they definitely want to go back. They absolutely loved their dessert.

I love this sushi. I work on across Bronx and this is me and my coworkers lunch at least once a week for the last year. Never ever I have been disappointed. Tried everyone around and these guys for sure the best.

Warm, quiet, cozy environment.. Delicious food with kind, friendly and attentive staff. Awesome experience (for me personally) all the time. Love their Miso Soup🍲..

Went on a Weekday around 11:30am. Was the only customers there. Quick and friendly service. Food was tasty and cheap during the lunch special. (About $14 for the bento box, or 3 roll combo). Will definitely come back if ever in the Bronx again.
