Great place. Great location. Great pizza. It’s in a family friendly neighborhood. I travel to New York from St. Louis from time to time. Owners very nice. Pizza is great. Just make sure you bring cash. No Credit card/Debit Card accepted. Just Cash. Great place to dine in. Every place in New York Says there pizza is better. But this place is really good. It’s family owned.
Nice slice shop. Owner recommended i try their sausage topping so I ordered sausage and mushroom slice $5.50. Restaurant has character: many locals come in for a quick bite. Saw lots of take out orders, and the turn over on pizza is frequent so everything is fresh. Warning for those parking, cars tend to double park around lunch time around the restaursnt. My car was boxed in for a bit when some customers double parked outside waiting to grab their food. They have a nice open backyard seating area as well for customers to dine in. Good place for no frills decent pizza. Definitely try the sausage.

Legendary neighborhood pizza. I’ve eaten pizza all over the world and I’d say this about as classic New York thin slice as you can get. Staff was authentic and real, no fake personalities here, and the eating area was filled with neighborhood Italians. They also were giving out free booze since it was the New Year holiday. Dinner, free drinks, and complimentary Italian drama…what more could ja ask for?
I felt right at home - great pizza, great people, and no snobby radish decorations on top of the pie like you see dancing around in tights in Brooklyn now. Unbuckle the belt and roll up your sleeves - this pizza is the real deal my friends.
I heard the tales and made the stop while visiting someone in the neighborhood. After the first bite, I was moved….I took a seat, reflected on what just happened, and ordered a few more slices to see if this what I’ve been missing in my life. It was. The sausage was homemade by Italian Americans and it had perfect grease-to-cheese ratio with just the right amount of sauce. I put this spot in my top 5 here in New York. Outside a New York?! Forgidaboudit. Best slices I’ve had in the Bronx, period.
Finally got to try this pizza place out after hearing about all the great things and it definitely lived up to the hype! The pizza was crispy and light yet a nice chew to it and very thin right up my ally of pizza! Good amount of cheese sauce was good definitely will ask for some extra sauce next time and part of the pizza for folded over somehow but it was still great non the less . Also loved the pieces of sausage on the pizza instead of slices not many places do this and it’s great I love and I love the unsual set up kinda like a downstairs basement vibe almost like walking down in to Italian grandparents basement cooking up the best food can’t wait to come back!
This is my first time to the city. I’ve been upstate before and had some good pizza but this place…. THE BEST. The vibe of place was real cool. You see them making pizza as you walk in, the smell of the place is amazing. All I had was a cheese slice and a pepperoni. Both were delicious. I’m going back tomorrow and again if I’m still here on Thursday. 100% recommend stopping by here, even if it’s a bit out of the way.

A friend, raised in the Bronx, told me I HAD to have pizza from Louis and Earnie’s Pizza. So we went. He was right. The sausage and garlic slice was perfect thin crust pizza topped with hand formed chunks of delicious sausage and fresh garlic. Heavenly. Go. It’s worth the trip
Louie & Ernie's Pizza is the real deal! Authentic NYC pizza at it's finest. We came all the way from Ohio and stopped while we were traveling through to the New England states. The people were friendly, the service was great and the pizza is to die for. I highly recommend it and wish there was one near my house. If you're in the area, go there. Just go there. You will not find better pizza anywhere. 🍕
