La Cocina Boricua

The music was quite loud upon entering. The waitress, maybe due to the language difference, got it y order wrong. Most of the food was pretty good! The calamari was burnt and the oil may have been old. The shrimp in the shrimp soup was a little overcooked. I may not recommend but the Groupon was a good deal.

The food here is very good. The service was also good. I went here with a Groupon for $100 worth of food. I only paid about $8 for the tax and gave a tip. We ordered meals and appetizers that we ate there and still had to order a bunch of food that we took home because they literally gave us $100 worth of food, appetizers and dessert. I just bought another Groupon to use again because it was so well worth it and there was no waiting period before buying again. You can dine in or take out. There's street meter parking, but I didn't have a hard time when I went. I recommend eating here even without the Groupon. The food is worth it and the prices are good on a regular day.

I love this place! Maria is the best bartender she is so sweet and nice and a hard worker always smiling always so nice! Albert gave me and my friends excellent service….. the kitchen was closed and he still made my friend a salad! The food was amazing I really like the grilled shrimp I will be coming back here! Everyone was smiling and very attentive! I highly recommend this place ….. friendly staff and great food and music 🎶
