The food and service here is just amazing! We came here for dinner and even though the parking lot was full, we were seated instantly. Every single staff member here was very friendly and eager to help. Our waitress was on the ball! Any request and she was on it! The quality of food here is remarkable. You can tell everything is made on site and not frozen. The atmosphere here is warm and welcoming! I never saw a restaurant have so many lit fireplaces! If I'm ever in the area again, you can be sure we will be having dinner here. Well done, Homestead!
Saturday 7/31/2021 , Saturday . We tried this restaurant today for lunch time . It was four of us . It was very good . Our waiter Shawn was very nice and polite . I loved the outdoor patio and the appetizer was great . We got the appetizer that brings a bit of everything . It was a really nice quiet time . I wanted to try this place beaches of this History behind it . It was a lovely place .
The food was decent and the service was excellent. Got the spinach salad with grilled salmon on top. The salmon was delicious. Also had the blood orange martini and was impressed that they deliver it with the extra from the shaker. All in all it was a great experience and If I lived closer it would probably become a regular spot.
Really great local spot for us! The first time we came we sat in the side room off to the left which was kind of cold feeling and didn’t have a great vibe, the room itself is dreary and just seems like an old house without the charm. Glad we came back to give it another chance because it is one of our go-to restaurants in town now. The rest of the restaurant is really cozy and all the staff is really friendly. They have great bread and the entrees have been really delicious and the portions are very generous. I would steer clear of the appetizer sampler though-it leaves much to be desired. The atmosphere is welcoming other than that side room! Can’t wait to sit outside in the summer :)
We sat at the beautiful bar. There was a bunch of us but we were able to all get seated together on a Sunday afternoon around 2. The bartender is very friendly and, since most of our group has never been here before, answered all our questions. Everyone ate and the food was excellent. We had a great time and can't wait to go back.
Heading up to Cardigan Mt. Soap Company so we planned a lunch here. Started with the bacon wrapped scallops in maple syrup. I give this restaurant huge props as there were 6 on the plate... Enough for 2 for each of us with the trend being 5 this was a nice surprise. Orders for the table were the Black n Blue Burger w/sweet potato fries, the Fratellos pizza and the chicken sandwich with tater tots. Pizza was hot crisp and delicious, Burger was good and for medium it came more well, chicken sandwich was burnt but I didn't find that out to we were gone as that party never complains about their food till after the fact. Both the sweet potato fries and the tots were fried to perfection, highly recommend. Anytime we are up that way we stop if we want a good solid meal.
Unbelievable braised short ribs for Valentine's weekend! Requested the oversized leather sofas in front of the crackling fireplace! Great service, excellent food, love the atmosphere both winter and summer! Check it out! Mark is phenomenal always has smile and greets you like family!!
