Brielle Bagels

Good breakfast sandwiches, but can be a 20+ minute wait whether you and/or someone else orders pancakes. These orders take up work space and flow of other quick egg based orders for how mediocre the pancakes are... Might as well be categorized as non-value add work! Possibly better if Brielle Bagels just takes pancakes off of their menu for your order to be ready in five minutes or less!

When calling to place an order the woman on the phone, informed me that they were out of the bagel requested. When I went to ask what bagels they had left, the woman on the phone could not be more rude. After giving me a list of bagels they DID NOT have, and apparently me not answering quick enough for her (about 3 seconds), she rudely said to “just call back” and hung the phone up.

Say Goodbye! After today, never returning to this establishment. No complaints about the food. However, as I was watching the cook (I assume it's the owner) prepare food this morning, she engaged me by saying "Can I help you?" I thought she was just offering customer service, so I responded with friendly banter - "No, I'm just watching you work", also commenting that "I was wondering what she was doing with some eggs, until I realized she was separating the yolks from the whites." Her curt response to me was "Well I don't like being stared at!" Really? Well maybe you shouldn't have an open kitchen! Why are you worried about people watching you cook? Anyway, after that remark, I will never do business here again. There are plenty of businesses who value their customers and don't treat them rudely.

Old school bagel shop. Opens the earliest of all the area shops. Extremely tasty, nice sized bagels. They have a few unique varieties. Several times I am literally the first person to call and place my order before the crack of dawn. The staff is always pleasant... Even at that hour. My order is always ready and waiting with no need to check it. This joint has tons of regulars. Everytime I go here, I am always amazed at how everyone knows each other. Amazing Bagels! Wonderful People! Convenient location! What else could you ask for?
