My family and I enjoyed dinner together at Blue Hen Crossroads. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is 1) Add drink menus to the tables. I noticed there was a bar but no menus for beverages, alcoholic or non alcoholic. 2) perhaps a different radio station to set the right atmosphere. I know this restaurant is very new and I give them a lot of credit. Nicole was an excellent server and really made our experience top notch. Truly! We really enjoyed her. I had the chicken imperial and it was amazing! The other dishes at the table included scampi and crab cake (as well as a variety of kids meals) and everyone really enjoyed the food. Prices might seem high for the area, but if you were closer to the beach you wouldn’t think twice. All in all, I think it was a nice little restaurant with lots of potential and I would go back and try other items!

Had the brisket which was excellent. however, prices are overall high I think. $17.95 for fried chicken. No meal on the menu priced less then that. Def not a place to take the family for a reasonably priced meal. Brown paper on the tables for tablecloths so not fancy or much atmosphere for the price

Congratulations! I can not begin to express the warm welcome that you get as soon as you walk through the door! From the moment you step in the restaurant it’s like stepping into a families home. It’s very clean, decorated beautifully... and the food is amazing! The crabs have been a great size and full of amazing meat! Make sure you try their hand made deserts as well!! Job well done!

First time here. The stuffed shrimp was pretty good, lots of big lumps of crab meat. Crab dip appetizer was also very good with nice bread crostini. Wife and daughter both got grilled chicken, one with crab imperial. Overall everything was good, but $81+ tip with sodas and no desserts is a tad high for rural Delaware.
