Shouf's Cafe

Shouf's Cafe USED TO BE an amazing restaurant with incredible Lebanese and Mediterranean food - with typical restaurant hours. In the last three years, however, the restaurant is barely open and, even when it is open, offers only takeout. The quality of the food and the service has gotten much worse. When open, no one answers the telephone. Online orders seem to be regularly turned off. Go elsewhere until the owners either decide to get their act together again or close outright.

This was my first visit to the restaurant and I had little experience with Lebanese food before today. I came with someone for lunch. The person I was with and I ordered the Mazza platter for an appetizer, which was awesome. I got the Moussaka, which was different but good, and she ordered a gyro which she said was awesome. The place is clean and the waitress was great! I want to go back.

I recently met a group of friends for cocktails and dinner. Cocktail menu is fantastic. The place has a great vibe, like you are sitting at the kitchen table at your friend's house. Food was amazing. We had multiple starters and shared a taste of all the entrees around the table. Everything was delicious, I had the lamb kabob and it was grilled to perfection. Best Baba ghanoush I have ever had. The Moussaka was flavorful and is a new favorite dish of mine. The staff was attentive and personable. I can't wait to go back.
