The best chicken and waffles in Illinois! I’m a huge fan of chicken and waffles. My husband loves skillets. I’m so happy he found this hidden southern gem. I’ve been raving about this place to all my fiends and family. Our waitress Toni was genuinely nice and made sure we enjoyed our breakfast. We highly recommend this place to anyone who loves skillets, chicken and waffles. You will not be disappointed. Thank me later!!

The best chicken and waffle sandwich I’ve ever had… This thing a masterpiece! The chicken was perfectly seasoned and breaded. The sugary waffle top was a unique twist. The bacon and cheddar was a pleasant surprise as well. Not to mention the warm maple syrup. Customer service was on point! I’ll be coming back again. Very soon!

The waitress was excellent considering they are very low on employees. She told us it would be a little bit of a wait because they were still making breakfast… no wait at all. It came within 10 mins. I had the half sandwich with Chicken Rice Soup which is delicious and an order of fries. It was 9.95. My friend had Turkey with stuffing, mashed, and mixed veggies. I personally didn’t like the gravy that was all over the plate. Should have been on the side. Unfortunately no photo.
I’ve been there before and I will give the waitress 5 stars. The soup is also a 5 star for me. Everything else was just average. It’s always busy, they only do breakfast and lunch.
I will go back for the soup for sure .

My experience was delivery. I had the the Mexican Omelet and the chicken fried country steak with eggs and hashbrowns. The Omelet was spectacular. But the gravy on the CFS was kind of too tangy than seasoned. I don't know if buttermilk was used but definitely hope and pray it wasn't spoiled. Also I ask for soft scrambled eggs and received overcooked eggs.
Update : You guys are a breakfast winner. Yes I reordered my original same as above and omg that's my favorite meal. The Country Fried Steak and Chicken is AMAZING. Haven't had no where better yet. And my eggs was cooked perfect too.

First time having this place, I called in my order veggie skillet no mushrooms and the chicken omelette with no bacon. Well it had both, called the restaurant and the lady that answers has a nasty tone when I tell there’s a issue with my order. Of course I can’t make it back because I have things to do that’s why I ordered a pick up. I want a refund, they wanted me to come back with my card and the food. I paid by card, why not just void the payment? Nevertheless, I will not be returning.

Such a humbling, loving, and family oriented feeling here! We stayed for a long time, and never felt rushed or pressured to hurry and leave despite it staying busy the entire we were there. Staff were so polite and friendly, they made jokes with us, and it felt so warm to dine in here and enjoy the delicious food. Skillets are the best!

My go to breakfast place for the family when I want something near by. Always friendly and always great quality. The portions are huge and never been able to finish a meal. Kids love the pancakes and meals. Go and be sure to be nice to the waitstaff. They work hard.
