Green Olive

We enjoyed our night out at the green olive. The food was plentiful and full of flavor. We ordered the calamari and nacho appetizers. The calamari wasn't the best I've had (a bit chewy for my taste), but the nachos were great. The olive oil dipping sauce for the bread was pretty good. I liked that they had a variety of special drinks - we each got different ones and enjoyed them. The meals were pretty large portions (I probably should have ordered the small portion, but I wasn't sure about how much I'd actually get). Everyone left the meal happy! We'd definitely visit again.

The food was amazing. We got the coconut shrimp appetizer, the dipping sauce was sweet and spicy, really good. My bf got steak and it was cooked very well, medium just how he likes it. I got the seafood lovers pasta and asked to have it in a blush sauce, which they did accommodate. We even had dessert which was delicious as well. They have a large dessert case with lots of cheesecake flavors!

My husband and I took a drive here for lunch. We used to come here once a month before the pandemic and it was always good and decent. Today, both of our meals were tasteless. Between us we had mini crab cakes, which had no taste and were dry and crumbled apart as soon as you put a fork in them. The bacon wrapped scallops were tasteless all but the flavor of bacon. The boneless wings were huge and were over breaded, and tasted like plain breadcrumbs soaked in oil with some hot sauce. Their blue cheese dressing was good. We also had french fries. The fries were good. We will not likely return.

Very nice restaurant. The food is very good, prices are fair, not overpriced. They have a built in pizza oven and large counter top bar seating. Full array of bear wine and spirits. They've had complaints of not treating people of color fairly. However as an African American, I've never had a bad experienced based on race. I recently had a large group there for a special occasion mostly African American. The food was good, everyone had a good time. The staff was very friendly and super helpful.

Love the food here. We just moved to upper Deerfield in November and usually go to the one in Vineland so was excited to try the one out here as well. Brooke is always so nice/funny and gives our little one ghost spider bean lots of attention which is just very sweet of her. Also we had a new waitress tonight by the name of destiny who was very nice. All of the waiters here work very hard and I know for a fact this isn’t the easiest career to do but they all maintain a smile even during a rush. Also I love how every single time we have visited this restaurant I see the mangers/bosses hands on, helping, prepping never sitting around that shows a lot . Definitely one of our favorite spots to go/take our girls. Highly recommend because the food is always great also!
