We sat at the bar and service was amazing! We both got flights. They have an amazing selection! Menu had lots of options, and we ended up getting the veggie flatbread but with pesto instead of the regular marinara. We also got a couple of apps since they were half-price for happy hour. Food was incredible, bartender was incredible, beers were incredible... even the view and sunset were incredible. I'm only visiting the area for a short while, but I'll definitely go back before I leave!

Something for everyone here! Obviously great omnivore choices, plenty of vegetarian options, many vegan friendly options and even a gluten free menu!
The staff here are all great and each one ensures that you not only have a good time but that you’re aware of their best deals at the time and that you know some good local options to check out as well.

We have to visit West Virginia often, specifically the Bridgeport area, and every time we do, we stop by Mountain State at least once, sometimes more depending on how long our stay in town is. We have stopped in for lunch and for dinner and even close to closing and the staff has always been kind and friendly to us. The pizza is good and they have quite a few drink options. They are not far from the main hotel area near the hospital. Always a good spot to stop in. Make sure ya grab a bumper sticker too.

Kelly our server took great care of us. Service was quick and efficient and she guided is through the specials very easily. We only had a small bite to eat but the beer and the Margarita flight were excellent. If I'm in the area in coming back.

This place has a great beer selection as it should! But unexpectedly also has great margaritas! My wife has had margaritas from all over the country and said these were in her top 5. They have a option for margarita flights just like beer flights. Well worth the visit if you're a beer or margarita fan. The food was also very good.

Delicious food. Had a flatbread pizza and the dip sampler with southern caviar, beer queso, and buffalo chicken dip. My husband had a beer flight and I had a margarita sampler. The jalapeno lime was the best!
