Rainbow Diner Restaurant

I have been coming here for 38 years never had a bad meal. Ordered their broiled sea scallops done to perfection. Tried for the first time the chicken croquettes with mashed potatoes and giblet gravy. The table next to me ordered cheese blitzens so I just had to order some for myself for dessert with a scoop of ice cream. Rainbow Diner is the best of the best with honors.

I’ve been to Rainbow diner a handful of times and have never been disappointed, this review is for the meal I had last night: my girlfriend and I had burgers and fries at 10pm, you’d think being so late in the evening that the quality would be slipping, not at Rainbow. The service was amazing, we felt so accommodated thanks to Brian who went above and beyond. Onto the food: the burger was SO flavorful and grilled just right, the lettuce, tomato and onion were incredibly fresh and the sesame seed bun was soft and delicious. An incredible meal. I finished off the evening with a slice of cheesecake which did not disappoint, creamy and smooth. What an incredible meal. 10/10.

01/22/2022: Dinner for 2 at the Rainbow Diner. We go here maybe once a month. To me, their Eggplant Parmigiana is SO good because they slice the eggplant so thin. My date had a Corned Beef on rye (Picture shows only 1/2 of the sandwich.). There must have been at least a pound on that sandwich (I helped her finish it). The soups were very good, as usual, and the service prompt & courteous. Rainbow Diner is a MUST visit anytime I am shopping in the area. Well Done!

What a gem! Fantastic experience. Our waitress Bev was awesome. Look at that omelette! 😎 And that is a “side order” of Taylor Ham / Pork Roll. HUGE! Ended up slapping those slices onto the buttered English muffin and WHOA BABY! A nice complement to the rest of the meal. Coffee was great too. Plenty of parking, easy to find, love this place! RECOMMENDED!

I understand people are short-staffed these days, but there was a great language barrier between our server and our group of eight. If you asked for something special he didn't understand so you didn't get it, food was okay, omelettes were overdone, breakfast potatoes undercooked. Thet have good coffee! Waffles and ice cream was the best dish served.
