Italian Garden Grill

I arrived at Joe’s, dining solo, which will be my first and last time to patronize the establishment. I entered the building to a couple of four tops waiting to be seated, and proceeded to be ignored by every employee that walked through the waiting area. After fifteen minutes of standing, and trying to make eye contact, I approached a member of the waitstaff to see about the seating situation. Prior to doing so, I noticed about half the tables were empty and plenty of room to be sat. I asked if I might be able to sit at the bar since I was dining alone or if I needed to wait to be sat, at which point a rude young lady(I’m assuming a floor manager) interrupted and informed me that they were short staffed and regardless if I sat at the bar the time to be served wouldn’t change. I asked her if I should then continue to stand by the door and hope to be acknowledged by some member of their staff, at which point she told me she would be with me shortly. She never got back with me, instead Elijah sat me and attempted to make the best of a bad situation. I ordered the cannelloni, which clearly read it was pasta STUFFED with beef and spinach on the menu. After a poor excuse of a salad, my food finally made its way out of the kitchen. It was a serving dish filled with a puréed slop of greasy beef and spinach with a couple pieces of pasta laid over the top and then blanketed in cheese. It took almost two hours, from the time I entered the building until the time that I left, still hungry and other than Elijah’s good service, completely disappointed. Poor management and kitchen quality is plenty of reason to dine elsewhere.

Just got a Door Dash delivery! I’ve ALWAYS LOVED their food, but I SPECIFICALLY requested they NOT include their bread, as not only is it the most TASTELESS item of their menu offerings, but the pasta is DIABETES enough! Why do they keep on pushing the bread!? I still have some bread from my last order…oh well! More for the neighborhood cats & birds, I guess!

I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and meatballs were terrible. Tasted like freezer burned day old. Fed them to my dogs when I got home. Banquet TV dinners have better meatballs. Wifes meal was good. Service is great!! They got a large order and all was correct. The stars are for the service only
