Big Apple Diner

We go here on occasion and have always had great food great service. My husband had a Patty Melt and it was exactly that. Melty with cheese just as it should be. French fries look as though they are hand cut. Great atmosphere, decor is from the 50's. Want a GREAT old fashioned the way it should be shake or malt. This is the place for you.

The service was amazing! I ordered a meal that came with a baked potato. The potato was so small even the waitress made a comment. When I said something she immediately went to the Cook put swing to her that that's all they had was small potatoes and they gave me a second potato. I certainly wasn't expecting that. I feel like that was above and beyond. My meal was great. I will definitely go back there next time I'm in this neck of the woods.

I loved the diner feel to the place, it was like falling back in time a little. Polished crome on the booths and tables with cool 50s music in the background. The service was excellent and was seated right away. Friendly staff, with hot coffee post haste. I had the biscuits and gravy with red potato hash and eggs. The sausage gravy was excellent. Eggs were hot to the table. Overall a very good experience. I will be back

Used to eat here all the time before moving away a few years ago. Came back for breakfast and am so pleased they haven't changed a bit. This is the best breakfast available on the Kitsap Peninsula. Absolutely love the chicken fried steak and eggs, but the German Pancakes are the stuff of legend. As we are still fighting the COVID pandemic, they have implemented distancing which is honestly some of the best execution I have seen. Masks are required except at the table. Tables are generously spaced with partitions between booths. The sanitation procedures are great and strike a balance between having a bit of "normal" eat out capability while keeping the area controlled so as to prevent the chance of transmission of the virus. Kudos to the staff for a great job!

Think about the best diner you've ever been to, now think of how that food and service made you feel, now think about the fact that the king of all diners is right here in Bremerton! Try it for yourself, stop the car, turn around and go try it out. You're welcome hungry people.....
